Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby ran on a campaign slogan of “Leadership you can trust”.
Her rush to judgement and activism today in announcing ridiculous charges against six police officers present following the arrest of Freddie Gray, a career drug slinger, is astounding and brings back memories of the Duke Lacrosse team prosecutor Michael Nifong.
Nifong, another Democrat pandering to his low-information constituents, disgraced himself and was eventually disbarred and served time in jail for his prosecutorial misconduct.
Meanwhile Mosby is far from dispassionate and impartial. Trust her leadership? That’s a farce.
(Baltimore Sun) – A Fraternal Order of Police lodge is asking Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby to appoint a special prosecutor to the Freddie Gray investigation because of her personal connection to the Gray family’s attorney, William H. “Billy” Murphy Jr., and her marriage to a city councilman.
Even Alan Dershowitz, the far left law professor called the entire circus an effort at creating a “show trial” to prevent further rioting.
(Mediaite) – …Dershowitz lamented that “this is a very sad day for justice” and told Steve Malzberg that Mosby acted out of a “desire to prevent riots.” It will be “virtually impossible,” he predicted, for the six officers involved to get a fair trial.
And as for murder charges, Dershowitz said there’s “no plausible, hypothetical, conceivable case for murder” and “this is a show trial.” He predicted that Mosby might get removed as prosecutor and Baltimore citizens may get upset if and/or when they “move to a place with a different demographic.”
He concluded that it’s “unlikely they’ll get any convictions in this case” and if they do they’ll likely “be reversed on appeal.”
Dershowitz – A Sad Day for Justice Motivated by Crowd Control, Any Conviction Unlikely

I think this bunch of BS is designed to fail in order to further stress bHobama’s call for a national police force. When the wheels come off this buggy the rioting will get out of hand and not just in Baltimore. Now would be a good time to prepare.
Yesterday was a good time to prepare, but better late than never I guess.
You bet!
I see this crap coming not only to Chicago, but even Springfield and similar size cities in IL.
What’s going to happen when these young perps run into an armed person who shoots a few of them to escape their attack. It’ll be like pouring gasoline on a fire.
You see Drudge? Top headline: Duke lacrosse team all over again.
GSL on the cutting edge again!
Nice analysis.
Take a good look at the arrest record. Talk about a revolving door. If this DA is so interested in justice, why was this guy not in prison?
