There have been several cases of late of fast food restaurant employees telling on-duty, uniformed cops that they, as employees, will not serve the police.
One of those incidents happened earlier this month in Pembroke Pines, Florida at an Arby’s restaurant. Officer Jennifer Martin was refused service at a drive through window by Kenneth Davenport. She sought the manager and asked why, and the manager told her it was because she was a cop.
After a back and forth, Officer Martin was served, but she elected not to eat the food, fearing it was tainted. She left the store and bought food elsewhere, and documented the incident in an informational report.
(Daily Caller) – A Pembroke Pines police officer went through the drive-through of a local Arby’s around 7 p.m. Tuesday evening, but when the officer pulled up, one employee refused service.
“I don’t have the exact quote, but something was said to the effect of ‘We don’t want to serve you because you’re a police officer’” Pembroke Pines Major and Public Information Officer Carlos Bermudez told The Daily Caller News Foundation.
“Their CEO and senior VP of operations contacted our chief and apologized for the incident and said they would address the matter,” Bermudez told TheDCNF.
Arby’s idea of addressing the matter was to give the employee who initially denied her service a paid vacation. The employee, Kenneth Davenport, remains part of the Arby’s family. He’s still collecting a paycheck.
To their credit, they did fire the manager who said the reason for the denial was that because she was a cop.
(Daily Caller) – The Arby’s employee who was suspended more than two weeks ago for allegedly refusing to serve a police officer is still getting a paycheck from the company, two weeks after the incident.
A spokesman for Arby’s told The Daily Caller News Foundation that the company and the employee, Kenneth Davenport, 19, mutually agreed that the he would go on temporary paid leave.
Arby’s and its franchise owners have every right to conduct business as they see fit. They even have a right to deny service to police or allow their employees to do the same.
So, ladies and gentlemen: You can do your part to show support of local police everywhere.
Don’t eat at Arby’s until and unless they take what you consider meaningful action to remedy this problem.
I wouldn’t eat food that was touched by a filthy (person),one of the reasons I won’t eat fast food is most fast food outlets have (person) working in them.
(Mr. Guest: We don’t use that word, or creative forms of it. If you can’t articulate your thoughts without using that crude pejorative, then sit on your hands. Thanks. John)
Dear Mr. Guest,
Perhaps you should pay more mind to your filthy (mouth) and your filthy (bigoted mind), lest people get you confused with the “filthy person” you bear so much hatred towards.
May the lice of many camels infest your genital region you ignorant, backwards little racist. You do not represent the Gun Community, or GSV membership.
Kindly piss off.

So the manager was fired but this guy was not.
Do we all want to guess the race of the manager?
I read a story about this a while back. The manager was Hispanic, I think.
My wife and I aren’t fast food regulars, and it looks like Arby’s is now on our “do not patronize” list for the time being.
Maybe the “Black Lives Matter” terrorists can keep Arby’s afloat when the rest of America bids adieu to them.
Arby’s new marketing logo should be, ” We got the MEAT HEADS “.
If Arbys employees can refuse service to cops, Why don’t Christian bakers get to refuse service to buggers?
buggers?
Please tell me you’re actually trying to articulate an intelligent thought using that word.
I’m sure if enough newspapers complained about this incident, and enough people went to court over it, it would make it to the supreme court. But we’ll never know, because conservatives don’t run the mainstream media, and we generally don’t handle our problems in such an distasteful fashion.
Arby’s skipped. Their roast beef and cheddar gives me gas anyway. Lol.
noun
plural noun: buggers
1.
a contemptible or pitied person, typically a man.
So… Don’t eat at Arby’s. Sure.
Punish the franchisee paying wages and sales taxes in your home town for the sins of some other franchisee 1,000 miles away.
That’ll teach ’em!
