Evie Hudak from her seat in District 19 gather along Wadsworth Blvd. near W. 80th Ave. A small group supporting the recall gathered signatures from a small table along the street while a man opposed to the recall placed several signs and waved to drivers passing by. Colorado Democrat Senator Evie Hudak is a vile elitist.

DENVER (Colorado Observer) – Despite hearing life-and-death stories of rape victims who begged legislators not to take away their right to carry concealed weapons on college campuses, a Democrat controlled Senate panel did just that late Monday night.

Those who carry concealed weapons “increase the severity of a crime, increase the likelihood of death,” declared state Sen. Evie Hudak (D-Westminster).

“For women especially, it’s more likely to be used against them and taken away from them,” asserted Hudak. “They are more easily overpowered… and I don’t want people to have a false sense of safety and security.”

How nice of her.

She doesn’t want to give her constituents the choice to protect themselves.

That gross insensitivity plus her flippant dismissal of objections to that state’s sweeping gun and magazine bans passed earlier this year is costing her dearly.

She’s being recalled.

And if Senate President John Morse and Senator Angela Giron are any indicators, she’s not going to be serving much longer.

ARVADA, CO (Denver Post) — The campaign office in a drab strip mall of this metro-area suburb has the urgent feel of an election just days away.

But Election Day for this group is not in November. It’s a Dec. 3 deadline to submit about 18,900 valid signatures to the secretary of state’s office to force a recall vote on Democratic Sen. Evie Hudak.

The effort, based in anger at Colorado’s new Democratic passed gun-control laws, amounts to another end-run at tilting control of the state Senate to Republicans.

On a recent afternoon, volunteers rushed in and out. Some sat while dialing voters. Others stood, pecking at smartphones.

The neon yellow posters that line the walls and front windows made lucid the cause: Recall Hudak.

Goodbye, honey.

Take your Hostess Twinkies and get the heck out, you political hack.

  1. Using the legally allowed recall system is not making “another end-run at tilting control of the state Senate to Republicans”. It’s using the democratic (small d) system as it was intended. If anything, it could be portrayed as another end-run at tilting control of the state Senate to NON ELITISTS WHO WON’T TAKE AWAY OUR RIGHTS.

  2. You better not get that photo too close to your morning cereal. If you do the milk will go sour.

    1. Even a violent criminal can only stomach so much. Without doubt, she can walk at night and not fear attack (kinda like Medusa).

  3. I find it very insulting that she thinks women can’t defend themselves against an attacker. I did and so do many other women successfully.

  4. When is the unelection Coloradans? What a glorious day it’ll be to de-elite the legislature once again purging the statehouse of another anti-self-defense pol who would rather endanger innocents than empower potential victims! Let’s get this good job done!

  5. Evie is a typical democratic party hack, what the party wants is how she votes. She did not listen to her constituents and therefore was in the process to be recalled. These type of socialist democrats are too arrogant to listen to there people. She took the easy way out to save embarrassment. By resigning they can appoint another socialist democrat that will vote the party line.
