Chicago-style strict gun control nets city four places on nations’ top 20 most dangerous neighborhoods

Well, you’re in luck.  Head on down to the big city of Chicago with all its strict gun control.  The City by the Lake has four of the nation’s most dangerous neighborhoods where you or someone you know can become a crime victim – in no time at all.

Likes.com released their “Top 20 Most Dangerous Neighborhoods in America” and the Windy City managed to score four of those positions.

Congratulations to Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Police Superintendent Garry “Streetlight Assassin” McCarthy – and the strict, Chicago-style gun control they promote and defend.

 

#20 North Auburn Gresham Chicago, IL

Chicago, Illinois has a murder rate that seems to be increasing yearly and a major reason is because of the crime that happens in the North Auburn Gresham neighborhood. This neighborhood which occupies the 60620 zip code has a violent crime rate of 73.5 per 1,000 residents. The chances of becoming a victim in this section are 1 in 14, which is actually on the low side for many of Chicago’s rougher areas. The entire south side of Chicago seems to be an evil playground that won’t stop its madness until the whole city is engulfed in violence.

 

#19 Northeast Auburn Gresham Chicago, IL

The neighborhood of Northeast Auburn Gresham in Chicago is by far one of the most dangerous places in America. The zip code of 60620 in Illinois has a violent crime rate of 116.56 per 1000 people. There is a 1 in 9 chance that you will become a victim in this neighborhood. This is another prime example of why the murder and crime rates are so high in this major American city.

 

#18 Washington Park Chicago, IL

You shouldn’t be surprised seeing another Chicago neighborhood on this list. This time it’s the Washington Park neighborhood, which occupies the 60637 zip code. This area has a violent crime rate of 65.77 per 1,000 residents. The chances of becoming a victim in this neighborhood are 1 in 15 which sadly is lower than some of the other Chicago areas which have made this list.

 

#16 North Lawndale Chicago, IL

Crime may be on the way down in North Lawndale, but not enough . Currently Chi-Raq is the murder capital of the US and North Lawndale has too many of them happening in their area for its own good. The 60623 zip code has a violent crime rate of 80.17 per 1,000 residents. Not to mention if you do live here there is a 1 in 12 chance that you will eventually become a victim of some crime.
