Earlier, we reported on firearm and firearm accessory manufacturers who have publicly announced they will not sell to law enforcement and government agencies in New York after that state recently stripped its residents of the ability to own modern self-defense firearms.

Those companies include:

Well, reports have been coming in about additional companies who are joining the bandwagon against government and law enforcement sales in states that have chosen to deny their residents their Constitutionally-protected right to keep and bear arms.

Credit where credit is due:  NC Gun Blog is keeping a master list and has had a few that we missed.  Good work to him!

If you know of additional companies holding law enforcement and government agencies to the same standards as civilians, please make a note of it in the comment section and we’ll link to them.

And then there’s our former friends at Armalite here in Geneseo, Illinois, a half-tank of gas from Guns Save Life’s headquarters.

Armalite, when contacted to urge them to decline law-enforcement and government sales to states with tyrannical laws against guns sent this charming reply from a sales rep at Armalite:

Dear concerned gun owner,

First of all I would like to say thank you for filling my email with all this spam email.

Second, I am not sure where you got this blanket email from to send out as spam, but please stop it.

Third, The manufacture is not the one you need to convince.

You need to convince the law enforcement agencies and the common people about their mistake in electing these officials and have them removed. Again NOT the manufacture.

AR Stands for ArmaLite…

Respectfully,

Pat Raley

Not only that, but their president released an “explanation” in which he refused to join the boycott, instead saying police officers’ lives are worth more than us lowly regular, everyday Americans.  As such, Armalite will continue to supply their product to law enforcement officers who will enforce the ban on civilians owning America’s favorite rifle and hundreds of other modern firearms popular with the public for self-defense use.

One reader at The Truth About Guns, Kevin F., drafted a particularly well-written letter to Armalite’s president.  Here’s the best part:

…I must agree with the message, if not the tone, of the private community. The only way to drag some change out of the LEO’s communities that are banned from possessing your products is too put them on equal footing. It’s all well and good to say you believe everyone should be able to own your rifles and that you sell to LEOs who believe the same, as they are fantastic products at a competitive price, but when that same LEO can still buy that rifle but the citizen he says should also be able to buy it cannot he essentially has no skin the fight. He can say, sincerely even, that he believes in the people’s right to own that firearm but at the end of the day he has no personal stake in the fight.. he already has his gun, he’s not denied his gun, it’s not his right’s he’s fighting for and that ultimately makes it not his fight, as sincerely as he might believe in the cause at the end of the day he has his gun, it’s not denied to him.

I understand that it is a dramatic move, that it will shift business and that it could potentially risk the life of an LEO by denying him or her a rifle. I completely understand that. But that is, sadly, the point we are at. Officers who believe in the Second Amendment need skin in the game, real teeth. If they can go to their superiors, elected officials and say “Look, your stupid political game is putting MY life in danger for no gain what so ever” then something will have to give.

Maybe you are already face to face with a great many of the departments, maybe you already sell only to staunchly pro 2A officers, but the civilian community you sell to wants their LEO brothers with some skin in this fight too. It isn’t easy, it could be painful, but we as lawful citizens should be on equal footing. That is the message we want to see as a community, all of us with skin in the game, because your profession does not define what rights you receive or to what degree you can have them, they are rights.

I hope this has been a calmer voice with the same message, I work in areas where it never pays to become angry, you get visibly angry you lose the argument.

Here is our argument, at least what I perceive as our true argument.

Thank you for your time and consideration, you have responded personally in the past and for that I thank you as well

Keith F

We at Guns Save Life are awaiting further clarification from Armalite.

In the meantime, we guarantee you that Guns Save Life will not be buying an Armalite product for the Great Guns V drawing later this year.

106 thoughts on “Nearly two dozen gun companies tell New York to pound sand… and then there’s Armalite… (update)”
  1. Never much considered purchasing an Armalite firearm in the past. Now I definitely will never consider purchasing a firearm from these money-grubbing traitors. Furthermore, Pat Raley needs to work on his customer service. Two-bit sales goon.

    1. While the idea of telling New York to “go pound sand” might appeal to the hidden bully in some folks, the premise is dishonest.

Companies often have a clear fiduciary responsibility to its shareholders and investors to sell its products though as many legal outlets as possible. It is management of a company that abandons its fiduciary responsibility that should be replaced. By what authority can someone attempt to dictate the affairs of a company in the United States? Where is it than the fiduciary duty of a firearms company and its investors are at peril to outsiders? It makes no sense.

Double standards are pervasive in many states across the country and many cities: notably Chicago. One set of statutes for the citizen, another for law enforcement and retired LE. It includes California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, etc., etc. Yet, only the New York SAFE Act has resulted in a bout of juvenile name-calling from ill-mannered firearms owners and dealers. The same double standard applies in all these states and cities and has for decades. By applying double standards here, it is just becoming guilty of the very same conduct some claimed to be against.

It is the responsibility of citizens in a particular state to elect representatives that share their values, not the responsibility of companies in other states. Any claim of Constitutional violations can be addressed in court. Anyone can assert anything, but that hardly enables it to stand up in the courts.

    2. If your argument is correct, and the directors of these companies have a fiduciary responsibility to safeguard its shareholders profits, they better weigh losing many non LEO’s as customers as well. I will not buy from companies who won’t do the hard things necessary to help safeguard the Second Amendment rights of the average citizen.

    3. The “Keith F.” letter above states, “I understand that it is a dramatic move, that it will shift business and that it could potentially risk the life of an LEO by denying him or her a rifle.”

Most people are not comfortable with potentially risking the life of a LEO. I know I am not. The person that thinks he can gain rights for himself by attempting to deny them to others is on the wrong side of things.

    4. @Randy Wakeman: First of all, would any LEA send an officer out without a proper firearm? I think not. Second, Most LEAs have armories. Very well stocked armories.
I seriously doubt the argument that the boycott will cause any injuries to any LEO.

    5. Rick M

You’re under the misconception that the majority of officers work for Departments with large well stocked armories.
The majority of officers work for smaller departments and often have to purchase their own weapons and equipment on what can be considered terrible pay.

    6. Randy,
People boycoting Armalite is not “attempting to dictate the affairs of a company” it is simply a free people deciding whom they do business with for what ever reason they deem appropriate. Any company and its investors are at the peril of thier customers.

If Armalite was truly concerned about thier fiduciary responsibility to thier stock holders (if in fact they are a public company)they might look at how much business they stand to loose by selling to States like New York. I myself will never buy anything from Armalite, nor anyone who does business with them, Fact, like it or not.

    7. Randy, I understand about the Fiduciary commitment to its shareholders and investors , the point is they should understand the absurd position New York and the Obama administration are taking and show solidarity to the rest of the Industry and to Patriotic Americans that have had enough with what is going on . Then the share holders and Investors would have to have a board meeting and decide which side of the fence they stand on

    8. So, by your reasoning, when IBM sold tabulating machines to Nazi Germany, knowing that they were used in making the “processing” of people through concentration camps more efficient, they did the right thing because it helped their bottom line and made their stockholders money?

  2. The praetorian bias in ArmaLite’s response is palpable. To hold that the lives of LEOs are somehow more worthy of protection than those citizens deprived of their civil rights is bigotry of a most insidious nature.

  3. I will never buy Armalite products. It’s disgraceful that these people will support denial of peoples rights just to make money.

  4. You know how I feel or I wouldn’t be writing this… Yea America and the 2nd. ammendment!!!

  5. Midway USA is on this list in error. Midway USA has never posted any policy either on their website or on their Facebook page. The only source for this is a purported email posted on The Truth About Guns. TTAG is the epicenter of suck and fail. They have never bothered to verify the email, they just posted it and enjoyed all the free hits.

Several people have contacted Midway USA and have been told that it was an “internet rumor.” Until Midway posts something official, I will not include them on my list. http://www.ncgunblog.com/new-york-boycott/

    1. Sean, apparently you haven’t looked to hard. Right on Midway’s page they have a picture of a long letter stating exactly what TTAG has said in the beginning, namely that they will not ship to any state government agency any item that is not allowed to be owned by the civilians in that state. Just hop on their page and look before you make an asinine statement like that.

    2. TTAG is far from the epicenter of suck and fail. Yeah, they’ve made a misstep or two in the past, but we’re all human.

They get hits because they post decent stuff.

I’m off to email Larry P. personally to verify.

      John

  6. The stupid idiot that thinks he is a salesman should think again. His personality sucks. Armalite can keep their “superior” merchandise! There are too many other gun manufacturers that produce products that are equal or maybe superior to Armalite!!! I wouldn’t buy their product now if they paid me!!!

  7. He also has a twice used error. “Manufacture” is a verb he uses as a noun. The word he needs is manufacturER.

Speaks to the talent on their bench.

I hope everyone in the other 49 skip armalite.

  8. Wow, that Armalite sales rep is a moron. Aside from the wrong-headed message itself, the arrogant tone, and lack of sentence structure that most learn in 6th grade… The word is “manufacturer”, and AR means Armalite Rifle, Not Armalite.

Will never buy an Armalite product. That’s for sure.

  9. I guess the almighty dollar is more important then standing for the rights of the people! Bye, bye Armilite! You’ve done more damage to your soul than you realize!

  10. Well Armalite is in Illinois, home of King Barry himself. Hell, Armalite probably shares his beliefs. We can’t expect every company involved to stand up for citizens’ rights.

    1. Actually, I believe Illinois, of all places, has more AR manufacturers than any other state in the USA…

We couldn’t pick the state Barry settled in after he arrived in Hawaii.

  11. I’m Cook Co. born but Wayne Co. raised. I’ve only been back a couple times and glad to be out of that hole. Apparently Pat Raley, Master Armorer / Sales Rep. ArmaLite, Inc. considers “him/her”self one of the ruling class elite in Illinois that makes their money with guns that peons don’t deserve. “Pat”, and Armalite won’t be making payroll with any of my money.

  12. I just wrote them and let them know that although I am a well-armed retired veteran living in a state that allows me to purchase what I like, ARMALITE will not be allowed in my house. Write them and rub it in their face.

  13. As the saying goes. If your not with us, your against us. The citizens of this country want the government to start working FOR us again. We are not their slaves. You, Armalite; have the choice stand WITH us or against us. It’s your call.

  14. Armalite is not on my list to buy anymore.Further all my friends
and firearms buddies have taken armalite off there list
as well.Just because they were the first AR doesnt mean a thing. They are foolish and are in someones pocket Im sure of.They are choosing
the wrong side. When they figure it out, it will be to late.

  15. Just a note about Barrett, I would not say they jumped on the band wagon. When California banned citizens from owning .50BMG rifles Barrett stopped all sales to CA agencies.

  16. Was trying to decide between a Barrett or an Armalite. This article double-cinched it. Barrett it is.

  17. This whole movement sounds like school yard sour grapes to me. God, wise up and wake up. It IS who you elect. You get the government you deserve. Maybe next time you will back a politician that is worth your time and consideration instead of voting for someone just because your buddy said he was a good guy…

    1. NY gun owners are outnumbered by the limp wrist mamby pamby voters in NY city. That great state is now mob rule and owned by the libturds! No more republic … they all think they can just “vote” on the parts of the constitution to keep or throw out!!

    2. That is what is happening in many states. I was raised in the farthest north county in California. We grocery shopped in Oregon. We were subjected to the libtard laws of the bay area and Los Angeles. Now I live in Reno NV and the libfucks from California are infiltrating here and voting for liberal idiots.

    3. No, Big NaTE, is should NOT come down to who they elect. This is NOT a democracy, it is a Republic. We have certain rights, one of them being self-defence (which includes standing against a government gone astray), endowed by our creator–not the government– and which the government cannot take away. Since they don’t seem to “get it” other measures must be taken to make that point clear. Voting with your dollars is a very legitimate form of rebellion and, there is no bloodshed. I see no harm, no foul here.

    4. In a Republic such as ours, the majority is not entitled to take away the constitutional rights of minorities.
      Get used to it.

  18. I will never buy armalite products ever again and I have strongly passed the word to fellow gun pals and they agree “strongly agree” .

  19. Very simple, organise a NATION WIDE BOYCOTT of all ArmaLite products by gun owners, buy NOTHING from them, see how long they survive on just government and law enforcement from those few states.

Keep the flag flying, and don’t give in to a tyrannical government.

  20. Looks like Armalite is on the wrong side. I for one will NOT be buying any product they sell, nor will any of the folks I know. I think they need a history lesson on America and the 2nd Amendment.

  21. Armalite rifles are now removed from my list of desirable guns to own,,,, unless this matter is corrected I will never buy an armalite product

    1. Same here. Going to a gun show this weekend, glad I read this article because I was actually looking into a Armalite AR. Thanks guys.

  22. Even though AR stands for Armalite Rifle and they were the original manufacturers, I bought mine from Colt. I haven’t considered any purchases from Armalite and, in light of this, I don’t think there will be any considerations in the future, either.

  23. This is called voting with your checkbook people, back several years ago we as gun owners came to the aid of the manufactures on this side of the river when legislation was pending that would have put them out of business. HOW soon they forget, so go make a little profit selling to the state, feds, county and cities at a discount rate, rather than civilians at a market value. Because when this is over and the Constitution prevails, you won’t be able to give your rifles away to the law abiding gun owners, as we never forget. And yes AR stands for ArmaLite but you are not Eugene Stoner and didn’t you guys sell the rights to Colt? That and now this were not good business strategies.

  24. What do you expect from a company that is ultimately owned by one of Obamas minions? Armalite and Marlin Arms are owned by an investment company that is owned by one of Obamas staff! I read recently that Marlin Arms has already been closed by them I don’t think Marlin made anything but sporting arms so their market was pretty much limited to hunters etc. Since they made no government/law enforcement arms they were quickly sacrificed.

  25. I will not be a customer of Armalite. I would ask that all 2nd ammendment followers, both private and law enforcement, join in a boycot of this ungrateful company. Being located in the corrupt state of Ill. they probably fear for their lives if they follow the lead of reputable gun makers elsewhere.

  26. I sure am glad Armalite sold the AR15 design to Colt because I’d be very upset knowing a royalty went to them when I purchased my AR15!

  27. I have always been a proud Armalite owner. I am now an ashamed Armalite owner. Armalite will not be getting anymore business from me.

  28. Armalite is a joke. Eugene Stoner left them in 1961 and they sold the rights to Colt, so they’re not really good for much are they? Screw them.

  29. Before we blast Armalite too badly, realize they may already have an existing contract with the States, or Municipalities that prevents them from withholding sales to law officers. They must live up to the terms of their contract.

Now, when the time comes to renew, that is a totally different story.

    1. Other companies had existing contracts as well. They canceled them. I am in the market for an AR and will be buying a Colt.

    2. Colt will not make a public statement in regards to NY LEO sales. They have been contacted over and over in the past two weeks, and not so much as a whisper. Go ahead and buy from them if you wish, but I will not be buying Colt until I know exactly where they stand on this. Their silence is deafening.

    3. My colt M4LE says right on it,that is only to be sold to Law Enforcement or military. That alone says that they are not on our side. When I finally got it legally (California at the time) I was insulted. But I wanted the best. Now I see the other side of this, and am torn. In the back of my closet is an old 308 Armalite rifle,,,,torn again, because I love that thing too.

    4. The contract is meerly for pricing not manditory buying… I also would cancel my contract with them for everthing including body armour. Why do they need anything for self defense if the civilians have been disarmed? Oh what are they saying that crooks will still be armed? Oh ok then i agree with them the police should be arned… AS WELL AS IT’S CITIZENS!!!

    1. Not so fast….. Colt has not answered the numerous emails, letters and phone calls on this exact same issue. This goes for all the major manufacturers – S&W, Glock, Ruger, Remington, etc. All have been contacted by hundreds of concerned citizens, and all remain eerily silent. I for one will not be buying from any manufacturer until they clearly state their sales policies regarding ban states.

If I had to buy something today, it would be from ONLY one of the companies above who has proven their unwavering support of our 2A rights.

  30. As president of an 800 member sporting club, I can attest to the popularity of AR platform rifles. That Armalite cannot see the bigger picture is disappointing. I will not be purchasing any Armalite rifles and I will pass this along to my membership body that they can inform their own decisions in this war on the Second Amendment by Feinstein and her crowd.

  31. I am a small time gun buyer, only own 6 guns, but you can bet the farm I will buy nothing from ArmaLite if that is their stand, they are either with us standing for the 2nd amendment or thsy can kiss it…..

ArmaLite, if you read this blog, not a dime from me ever unless you change your stand………

  32. I think I will call mine an ES15 from now on. It’s a mixed bag of parts from several manufacturers anyway. The deal is that unless you TELL these people what you are doing, a boycott is really not that useful unless you can cut them off from a substantial amount of their market. One thing to do is contact the LEOs in your area, tell them where you stand on the issue and ask for their support. See where they stand. Maybe you can convince a few of them to support such a boycott themselves.

  33. I wonder what part of Armalite’s sales are govt v citizen.
Which can they survive without? Part of the govt sales or most of the citizen sales?

  34. So easy to send a clear message to out of control politicians. Then there’s one un-American turncoat to undermine the sacrifices of all the Patriotic Manufacturers.

  35. I’d wish I could buy a Armalite AR-15. But they would probably think my order was spam e-mail. So, I’ll stick with Rock River Arms.

  36. If you really want to get armalites attention then contact them. Flood their email. Call them. Fund every extension they have. Ask long winded technical questions. Call sales and keep them on the line as long as possible. Jam their lines. Heck call just to check on the weather

Now imagine them attempting to run a company with 100’s of thousands of concerned citizens and potential “customers” jamming every sing line they have.

    1. Their already shoddy customer will suffer because so many of us will be on those lines any real customers getting through will be a miracle.

    2. Customers who are actually trying to buy something will have a much harder time getting through this hurting sales.

    3. At SHOT and every other trade show they attend get as many people as possible to fill their booth asking as many inane questions as possible and fill their booth with people who have no intention of buying anything. Also identify any companies doing business with armalite and begin pressuring them as we’ll. so if Midway is serious then maybe then they need to drop armalite as a vendor.

In summary I guess it is OCCUPY armalite!!!!!

  37. (1). READ THE DICK ACT. OF 1902
(2)this group of of gun manufactures needs to take it one step further and contact the metal suppliers to armalite…stop selling metal to armalite…If they want to manufacture weapons for this force in new york officers then they will have to find out that they will pay through the nose for there supplies which will result in lost profits for which the can not afford…
(3)I have no ill will to the officers of New York but if you do this I hope everyone is ready for a city to fall…this is a dangerous route for all in this country so think carefully and use commonsense in all decisions before you out flank your foe because the bull horns might be bigger than your flanking plans…

  38. Never trust a wolf in sheepskin right? Hope that the greed and idea to do right by the mass vs. wrong for the cash……hope that is all worth it to them…… NO longer doing business and will find many other great companies that understand who this state and country is about…. The People………. not the dictatorship

  39. I will never buy an armalite product after reading the statement of the representative. In fact i hope that all citizens in the us think yhis way so it shows them just how much they depend on is to maintain a business.

  40. They can go kick rocks! A good percentage of us “common people” are vets, or still enlisted… you know the ones who fight/defend for your freedom in the first place. The reason you can start your own company, make your products, and talk your chit. I’ll never buy from them. that is all.

  41. Sent my own email to Mr Pat …. Hopefully I was more respectful to him than his response.

    Pat,
First of all “We the people” are not idiots. People have not asked you to stop selling your weapons nor have they asked you to stop manufacturing your AR’s. What “We the People” are asking you to do is to hold the government and law enforcement to the same laws and standards as you hold the public. I own an AR, .223/.556 cal. and my family and I enjoy it very much.
That being said if your company feels this way about “We the People” and our request that you take a stand on this ongoing issue then I feel it my obligation to inform everyone I know and have them inform everyone they know that Armalite is in full support of President Obama and his gun ban initiative. With the understanding, at this time, I am looking to rid myself of the AR due to Armalites stance, should it actually be in favor of this arrogant administration. I would love to know, personally, where Armalite stands on this matter and I appreciate your timely response.
Thank you again for your time,
    Tim Dixon

  42. I just emailed Armalite that myself, my family and my company intend to boycott Armalite until such time they join the New York boycott!

  43. Armalite obviously did not learn from the mistake Smith & Wesson made in the 1990s when they sided with the gun grabbers.
I hope history repeats itself in exactly the same way.

  44. I find it very hypocritical that most posters here are acting with such emotion as the idiot government types acted with emotion after Sandy Hook. What is different about armalite than most other gun companies? A whopping two dozen (or however many now) companies said they aren’t going to sell to New York, but what about the other 99% of companies that are doing the same thing as Armalite and still selling to LEOs? Are you all going to go burn the other Illinois firearms manufacturers at the stake? Rock River Arms, LMT and Springfield Armory are all in the same area and I don’t see their names on the glorified list above!

What about everyone else? You know for sure that the Freedom Group (Remington, DPMS, etc.) and other companies are still selling to New York. I sure don’t see any hate mail going out to those companies.

It’s unfortunate that a single email from an employee can spark a fire to get so many people upset at a company for nothing.

It’s also unfortunate that so many people get emotional and join bandwagons without thinking things through…

  45. Looks like Armalite didn’t learn the lesson of Ruger. I never bought Ruger and have yet to forgive them. Armalite will be another one.

  46. Maybe we should be boycotting our selfish government, the ones who are taking away our guns, otherwise it will not matter who makes the guns and who sells them. BECAUSE WE WON’T BE ABLE TO BUY THEM. It is our fault for letting our government get even this far. Next, we’ll be under complete marshal law and it’ll be too late. STAND UP TO THIS TYRANNY WE CALL GOVERNMENT.

  47. It disgusts me how greedy people are these days. Rather than stand up for the 2nd amendment, Armalite is seeing big $$$ signs and they sit in the CEO’s office drooling with saliva all over their new Bahama vacation guide, heck maybe the CEO is drooling all over his Jet Airplane pamphlet that he now has while he giggles as the list of his once competition grows larger leaving him as the only supplier to the State of NY. Armalite products IMO, are overpriced so/so firearms. I have built much better and much cheaper by purchasing my uppers from J&T, my lowers from whoever is selling striped forged lowers, complete lower parts kits from Midway, optics from Optics Planet and of course, Cheaper than Dirt is a must shop and preferred customer place for all gun lovers. I sold my 2 Armalites, the AR 15 as well as the AR10 for the much better performing DPMS .308 upper and as I said, the AR 15 version can be built for well under $700 and outperform Armalites $2K + rifles without even using competition grade ammo.

  48. I never liked armalite to begin with . We tried a few and they fell apart after 2500 rds and only held 2 minutes of accuracy.

  49. well piss on you ArmaLite and I will tell all my friends and fellow hunters to think twice before doing business with your un American co. where you think we are less that what our constitution says we are…jim

  50. I stated this before and I’ll state it again. Aside from the lessons in PR management, Armalite senior management must have failed history miserably!

If one goes back when the AWB first came and was being pushed into our hobby, I remember all the large companies bending over backwards to cater to the elected officials, they even went as far as chopping off their bayonet lugs removing their flash hiders etc, etc.

Back then these companies figured “appeasement” was the best course of action when dealing with the political elite. Fast forward ten years later and thanks to sunsets in the AWB, we can look back and see what was actually gained through the appeasement strategy.

How easily one forgets only to cover the same ground and repeat the same mistakes, I think that is why I truly believe that enough is enough, we stand together or we fall separately.

This subject of unity under adversity is not about police, not about peace officers; the game of divide and conquer won’t work for me, this is about all of us having our rights infringed upon… period.

I personally have recommended Armalite products to many a friend, and allot of their products currently reside with individuals due to my input, moreover, I personally own one of their products, however, I’m a student of history, I’m not one for appeasement, never have, never will be.

Moving forward I will not recommend them or purchase from them, nor will I recommend their wares, I’m only one individual making a decision but it’s the right decision for all of us.

  51. Not the real Armalite – these are turds that bought the name – The real Armalite was born out of Fairchild and was located in Costa Mesa, CA.

Will never buy “Armalite” products again!!!

  52. I’m embarrassed to own my AR10 now….probably going to sell and get a GAP 10 from George at GA Precision.

  53. Good by Armalite call me when you re-establish yourself as a member of this country. Till then adios amigo.

  54. Posted this, to my facebook page:
    A reminder: http://www.lneilsmith.org/smithandwessonmustdie.html
    We’ve been here, before, Folksies.
Lots of good ideas, just change S&W to Armalite, and Clinton, to King Barry.

Armalite must die. They are promoting a policy that kills children. (See the links: Gary Kleck and John Lott, in the article)

    Armslite must die.

  55. This sales rep. for Armalite needs to get an email from every 2nd amendment supporter. His email address is on the letter. If he thinks his inbox was flooded before, he will be quite surprised as to how many people he has affected.

  56. Armalie is not a rifle woirth considering. there are so many more reliable and HIGHER quality weapons like Larue that they are literally on the bottom of the list. never considered buying one from them and never will.

  57. I guess my thought on Armalite Inc is that they are not morally driven nor do they care about the principle of the matter at hand. Since the company has no principle and are financially driven then they don’t deserve our business as well. Will this hurt them? Probably not. Look at the Ruger Company right before the first Brady Bill. Ruger Company went to the government and basically said that if the government made them the primary contractor for supplying weapons to the military they would stop selling any weapons to the general public. Since then I have never bought a new Ruger firearm since, based on principle. It makes me feel good anyway. But look at last years gun manufacturing statistics, Ruger made over a million guns last August and leads the industry in manufacturing numbers. These are weird times and this is all very concerning. But at the rate we are going I have a feeling that this country will be in great turmoil by 2016. The Constitution says that my right shall not be infringed, but since I swore more than once to uphold these rights I will do so. That is my principle and moral judgement to believe in and to uphold my word to this country.

  58. Is that any worse than what the few companies who have any ammo in stock are doing?
20 Rnd box of 7.62×39 Wolf or Brown Bear for $14,when a few months ago they were at $6.

  59. Dear Armalight, I see your stance on providing arms to people that are willing to take ours away from us is greatly disturbing to all the people that have paid for your paychecks, as such , in the words of that retard Pierce Morgan, may you go bankrupt, for your absence of loyality to the 2nd ammendment.

  60. Google, Eastern Outdoor Spoortsman Show, and see what we did to them if we stick together. The organization that ran that show here in Harrisburg, Pa since the 60’s made a statement he was not going to allow AR-15 type rifles in the show this year. Well we started a campaign to boycott the show and 50 or 60% of the venders dropped out. Cabela, Lee Lakosky and wife, all kinds of big names from TV and sportsman org. dropped out and the guy had to cancel the show.
We can move mountains IF we stick together. Hit them in the pocketbook and they will sit up and listen.

    1. Oh, forgot to mention they lost up to 40 million dollars….yes I said 40 million. That was what was in the news paper.
