With the news this past week of Defense Distributed releasing a 3D printable handgun, gun control advocates are grasping at straws to corral this horse that’s left the barn. Or perhaps a better analogy would be grasping at the water that’s gone under the bridge.
California State Senator Leland Yee believes licensing, background checks, registration and a whole lot more need to be implemented on 3D printers ASAP.
Why?
Why, public safety, of course! He believes terrorists will “print” guns and commit all sorts of mayhem upon the population of California.
We believe this would-be tyrant would ban the printing of publications with which he disagrees if he could – in the name of public safety, of course.
It’s a good thing nobody’s taken this little Mao in the making into a tool and die facility… and it’s a good thing he doesn’t know how dangerous lathes are!
Get your Liberator Plans
By the way, we at Guns Save Life are entertaining the idea of making the plans for this gun available from our website.
In the meantime, here are some locations you can download the files for the Liberator pistol.
Pirate Bay Link to the Liberator pistol (download and install uTorrent first)
Pirate Bay Link to Mega Pack v. 4.0 with all sorts of neat printable items (download and install uTorrent first)
Pirate Bay Link to Mega Pack v. 4.2 with all sorts of neat printable items (download and install uTorrent first)
Doesn’t it take a computer to run a 3D printer? Better ban those too, while you’re at it.
