Kyle Becker writes up some great stuff on the make-believe fairy-tale put out by Bloomberg’s Everytown for Gun Control Group.  Everytown claimed 74 mass school shooting have happened since Newtown in 2012.   No, we’re not going to link to their site and drive traffic to them.

If though, you scratched your head and thought you were suffering memory problems, you would be spot on.

(Las Vegas Review Journal) – Everytown for Gun Safety is an activist organization against law-abiding citizens carrying firearms. It was founded by Michael Bloomberg and Shannon Watts, and as The Blaze reports, headlines that 1.37 school shootings have occurred “every single week in the U.S. since the deadly 2012 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Connecticut.”

Charles Johnson did some digging into the list and here’s what he found.

A closer look: How many school shootings since Newtown?

…CNN determined that 15 of the incidents Everytown included were situations similar to the violence in Oregon — a minor or adult actively shooting inside or near a school. That works out to about one shooting every five weeks.

Some of the other incidents on Everytown’s list included personal arguments, accidents and alleged gang activities and drug deals.
