David S. Gregory – no, not the jackwagon from NBC, but David Gregory the coroner – has come out in recent days with what some see as controversial advice for good citizens to arm up and perforate home intruders in response to a surge of burglaries in his county.
The 40-year-old coroner of Winston County, Mississippi used social media to get his message out and for most of us, his advice is simply common sense. “I say shoot the idiots and call the Coroner! I’d hate for any innocent people to get hurt but at the same time my stuff is my stuff, my hill is my hill,” Gregory wrote.
Of course, nanny-statists see Gregory’s advice as highly controversial and it’s making the news in the mainstream media. It’ll probably not surprise you that the big media outlets are subtly portraying the coroner not as a professional, but as an extra from the movie Deliverance.
That if they won’t imprison property invading and thieving evil thugs THEN we will indeed shoot them in defense and be done with them.
Basically – do your job government or we will have no choice but to do it for you.
Some of that happened in Ferguson, MO after that State Police guy didn’t control the rioters and the looting was off the charts that one night. The next morning, shop owners brought their rifles to work.
I read once that in the old West they didn’t hang horse thieves for stealing horses. They were hanged so they wouldn’t steal more horses. Kinda makes sense.
