With two high-profile islamic (lack of capitalization intentional) terror attacks in two days, Canada has lost its innocence in the War on Terror.
What does this mean?
It means that more people saw how the only thing that stops a bad guy with evil in his heart is a good guy with a gun. The Canadian soldier killed at their Tomb of the Unknown had a gun, but it was unloaded. Don’t bring an empty gun to a gunfight.
Hopefully Corporal Nathan Cirillo will not have died in vain and Canadians serving at their Tomb of the Unknown Soldier will begin carrying loaded weapons and their role will switch from being ceremonial into genuine guards. Ditto for those U.S. Army gents serving at Arlington’s Tomb of the Unknowns.
This attack will probably also lead to a run on guns along with ammo sales in Canada. While our neighbors to the north have greater restrictions on gun ownership than we do, guns are still available. Gun laws in Canada have been loosened in recent years and this trend will probably grow dramatically in coming weeks and months. Everyday Canadians are probably feeling nervous already and attacks bring the realization that the only thing that stops bad people with evil in their hearts is a good guy with a gun.
And they will want theirs to feel more secure.
Anyone who feels that Islam is a religeon of peace – explain this.
Explain why no one is trying to stop these thugs with 4th century minds.
Explain why mosques throughout the world are recruiting people to carry out crimes against innocent people.
RIP Corporal.
Burn in hell Mohammad, you child-molesting piece of pig crap. Ditto for the scumbag who carried out this attack on our way of life.
Sam
Everyone who tries to join or offer any kind of support to the enemy should be executed, PERIOD. RIP Corporal
Canada needs to dump the liberal idiocy that is so out of control that a soldier can’t even be armed.
The shooter was stopped from killing any others by a good guy with a gun. The NRA is right.
