I thought everyone knew that everyone is armed in Indiana.
Apparently Tyerre Allen didn’t get the memo. It’s an Obama economy, after all, and Tyerre was looking for some fast and easy money by sticking up the Cash America Pawn shop on the east side of Indianapolis. Robbery as a career choice was familiar to Tyerre. He’d just gotten released from prison and was getting back into the game, it seems, when he ran into a little problem in his latest stick-up.
Unfortunately for him, a customer was there and didn’t cotton to some hoodlum’s propensity for violence and rapidly and promiscuously trashed Tyerre’s tats, leaving him gasping and gurgling a death rattle at the front door of the establishment.
It’s not known if Tyerre regretted his poor career choice prior to his expiration.
Thankfully, he won’t be robbing or hurting anyone else.
INDIANAPOLIS (Fox59) – A male robbery suspect was shot and killed by a pawn shop customer Tuesday afternoon, police say.
It happened around 2:15 p.m. at Cash America Pawn at 2428 E. 38th St.
Police say a person came into the business and showed a weapon. Multiple shots were fired. It is unclear if the suspect fired shots or just brandished his weapon.
When officers arrived, they found the suspect shot multiple times at the entrance of the business. He was pronounced dead by EMS crews on the scene.
Police identified the suspect Tuesday night as Tyerre Allen, 25, of Indianapolis. Allen was recently released from Indiana Department of Corrections for a robbery that occurred several years ago.
A witness stated that a man inside the business shot the suspect in an attempt to thwart the robbery. This person was later identified as a customer inside the business. A brief exchange of gunfire resulted in Allen’s death. The customer was unharmed.

From the news report, we suspect the hold-up went down something like this one at the Black Flag Firearms Training‘s Force on Force class this past Saturday. Skip to 1:00 for the “action” mark:
Let me guess, Tire (as in B.F. Goodrich) was just beginning to turn his life around.
How tragic, he was turning his life around and just trying to get money for college. get mama and the reverend in front of the cameras.
You beat me to it. I was just getting ready to say that money was for his books.
Interesting how the press “uses attempt to thwart the robbery.” This greatly understates the threat of a ARMED robber who is willing to kill.
“Attempt(ed) to thwart the robbery?” I’d say he effectively thwarted the robbery and likely saved some innocent lives.
Chalk one up for the “good guy with a gun.”
if law abiding Americans are vigilant and keep doing these kind of things then finally these felonious people will get the message another illegal felon dead thank you Mr concealed carry
It’s probably wrong to say that I hope his death was slow and painful, right?
I don’t care. I hope it sucked for him.
I’m sure he didn’t give a damn about hurting others for his entire pathetic, selfish life. Hope he rots in hell.
What’s up with the “It’s an Obama economy, after all, and Tyerre was looking for some fast and easy money by sticking up…” comment ? Are you that much of a bigot that you have to blame the POTUS for every crime committed by a person of color ? I’ve made more money under this President than I did in two years under the Shrub. By the way: There is absolutely no reason to have put those commas in that sentence other than the author’s limited grasp on sentence structure.
