RED JACKET RAPIST? William Hayden pleads not guilty to child rape UPDATED

Update:  FoxNews got it wrong.  Hayden did not (yet) plead guilty.  We’ve updated the story.

Remember the “Sons of Guns” reality TV show that followed Red Jacket Firearms and its owner William Hayden?

Well, it seems Will Hayden has a thing for little girls before and during production of the show, according to the police.  Well, “had” might be a better word as he probably won’t breathe free air again in his lifetime.  According to FoxNews, he pleaded guilty last week to multiple child rape charges, but other sources have reported that he indeed pleaded “not guilty”.  His problems didn’t get any better this week though, as a judge ordered him to pay $130,000 to (former) business partners for some sneaky shenanigans.

(FoxNews) – Trouble just keeps mounting for former “Sons of Guns” star Will Hayden.

The former Discovery Channel star and ex-Red Jacket Firearms owner, who last week plead guilty to multiple rape charges in Louisiana, has been ordered by a Baton Rouge state judge to pay more than $130,000 in penalties and damages to his former business partners for secret business dealings using the company’s brand.

“I can’t think why he thought he would get away with all this,” Red Jacket Licensing CEO Joe Meaux, who filed the victorious breach of contract lawsuit along with the other partners against Hayden, told FOX411, “unless he’s a psychopathic megalomaniac.”

What a nice guy, right?

We were also amused with the remarks of the company’s current CEO now that Hayden has been excommunicated from Red Jacket Firearms:

…Meaux is determined to keep the Red Jacket name and continue building the business as a leader in the firearms industry.

“So far it is not negatively affecting me to keep the name, so it makes no sense to change it,” Meaux added. “We’re up and running, using our knowledge to create even better products.”

Red Jacket is a leader in the firearms industry?  In what field?  Butcher jobs perhaps?

If Mr. Meaux doesn’t believe Will Hayden’s alleged proclivity to molest young ladies in his own home hasn’t damaged the already shaky Red Jacket name, then he’s about as sharp as a 2×4.

If the company’s products are anything like those coming out during the former TV show, it really won’t matter as anyone with a lick of sense will continue avoid them.
