Guns Save Life will be bringing its meetings and its message to Chicagoland by summertime and we need some good people to help with some volunteer opportunities!
What do we need? Good men and women to help out with a number of activities, large and small. These include leadership slots to help run the monthly meetings, people to help get the word out about these meetings, media and community liaisons and so much more.
We’re also looking for people to organize GSL meetings in the Northwest, West and Southwest suburbs. Is that you and a circle of your friends? If so, we need to talk.
Why volunteer?
Do you like making a difference in people’s lives with a good and noble endeavor? Do you want to leave the world a better place for your kids and grandchildren? Do you want to help influence tens if not hundreds of thousands of people towards freedom and the ideals put forth by our Founding Fathers?

Our upbeat gatherings promote freedom, liberty and firearms rights activism. We don’t just sit around talking and we certainly don’t complain. Instead, we get proven results protecting and expanding our gun rights through education and aggressive gun rights advocacy. We’ll make you proud to be a gun owner – even in Chicago.
In the end, our goal is to make Chicago a safer place for all through empowering the uninformed with knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to meet criminal predators head-on.
We know there is much to be done, but the only way to eat the proverbial elephant is to start in one bite at a time.

I live in liberal land (Highland park) I’d love to have a Lake County GSL bring the Mayor to task over the so called “assualt weapons” ban. It is unconstitutional we must file a writ of mandamus to the judge, and charges brought forth against the legislative body under U.S.C. 18 subsection 242. Similar charges are occurring in Washington state.
God, guns and guts made America great.
So many in Chicago could use a good dose of all three. Maybe it would set some of their misguided youth straight.
GSL headed up north is a good thing for good people.
It’s not such a good thing for criminals, hooligans and thugs.
