The modern Catholic church is having trouble keeping people interested in going to church.
This newest Pope is doing his best to accelerate these trends, advocating leftist political positions on a host of issues that are sure to drive away even larger portions of Catholics from regular church attendance.
Last month he called for a legitimate redistribution of wealth to the poor. Naturally, he neglected to redistribute a portion of the Vatican’s “nearly incalculable” wealth to the poor. What a hypocrite.
This month, Francis has launched a jihad to promote global warming junk science. In the end, his anti-capitalism, tree hugging zealotry promoting non-existent global warming initiatives will only hurt the poor. Way to go, Francis.
Now, the latest bit of hypocrisy from the Bishop of Rome:
TURIN, Italy (Reuters) – People who manufacture weapons or invest in weapons industries are hypocrites if they call themselves Christian, Pope Francis said on Sunday.
Francis issued his toughest condemnation to date of the weapons industry at a rally of thousands of young people at the end of the first day of his trip to the Italian city of Turin.
These are some pretty hypocritical words from a man who retains the services of men who use those very tools he is condemning. Who does he think made those Glocks, Sigs and other weapons used by the Vatican’s security services?
Today’s world is an especially dangerous place for a kook to run the church. It’s not surprising that some have called this pope a heretic.
