Guns Save Life’s Chicago monthly meeting was a big success. We had almost four dozen people present to hear a trio of tech times, a former Chicago Bear and updates on the latest in news and politics at the Sunday, September 27th meeting.
It was a great time.
Historical guns.
Machine your own AR-15 receiver from an “80% lower” using a jig and a router. One of our Cook Co. resident members brought this. (We still haven’t heard back from Defense Distributed on getting a “Ghost Gun” machine for our members to use.)
Door prizes!
She won the Ruger SR-9c!
If you weren’t there, you missed a lot of laughing and a great time. Here, GSL’s President Bear St. Pierre makes a fool of himself auctioning off an autographed hat. When was the last time you saw smiles and laughs like that at a Moms Demand Action event?
Role models, one and all. From left, Alfreda Keller, Chicago’s GSL regional coordinator, former Chicago Bear John Janata and GSL President Bear St. Pierre. It’s not everyday that Bear St. Pierre looks small compared to another man.
Thriving in Chicago!
GSL folks are good people with a positive outlook who love this country and love freedom.
People recognize this and respond to it. People are hungry for this.
The Bear with #72 I remember was The Refrigerator Perry.
The Bears are certainly stinking the place up this year.
Looks like the same sorts of fun we have at our downstate GSL meet ups.
John Janata was #72 before the Fridge Perry. It’s a great win on a bar bet. 🙂
Is his name really Bear St. Pierre? What a great name!
