President stompy feet doesn’t think there’s enough guns in circulation in America, so he’s pledging to make gun control his primary focus for his last, lame-duck year in office.

Gun sales have set records for the last six months in a row and between hard-core fringe Democrats calling for more gun control and the Muslim terror attacks, things aren’t likely to change soon.

What’s more concealed carry license applications are pouring in as well.

In the face of Americans voting with their wallets against his policies and beliefs, Barack Obama think gun control is the answer.  He really thinks this will seal his legacy.

In a sense I suppose he might be right.

Obama says gun control to be top issue of final year

(Washington Times) – “The main thing that I’ve been trying to communicate over the last several of these horrific episodes is that, contrary to popular belief, Americans are not more violent than people in other developed countries,” Mr. Obama said. “But they have more deadly weapons to act out their rage.”

Asked by interviewer Bill Simmons of HBO if gun control will be the “dominant” issue on his agenda next year, Mr. Obama replied, “I hope so.”

“We have this weird habit in this culture of mourning and, you know, 48, 72 hours of wall-to-wall coverage, and then … suddenly we move on,” Mr. Obama said. “And I will do everything I can to make sure that there’s a sustained attention paid to this thing.”

Nothing like creating an epic “Get out the vote campaign” for gun rights supporters.
