As of this morning, Chicago – Murder City USA – sits at 497 homicides and a total of 2966 people shot over the course of 2015. Hey Jackass has all the numbers.
Will they make that “milestone” of 500 dead and 3000 shot?

How do we know?
There were twelve people shot on Christmas Day, two of whom died. Christmas is supposed to be the day of peace on earth. Even if New Year’s Eve weren’t in the mix (and even more so it happening on a Thursday…), when was the last week when only 3 people were murdered in Chicago and 34 people shot?
Most days at least someone is murdered and there hasn’t been a day when at least someone didn’t catch lead for a long, long time.
Chicago-style gun control! It’s a small price to pay for the crime-free society it creates, is it not?
Where is the MDA, demanding that guns be taken away from these thugs? Are they demanding action elsewhere?
They are too afraid of the thugs to go after them for their guns or to demand real jail time for committing a crime using a firearm. No, they will go after the law-abiding citizens because they know we won’t physically attack them.
Moms Demand Action? Sounds like a good porn flick. More money pissed away by Bloomberg. $50 mil doesn’t buy a lot when you’re hiring mediocre children to do your marketing campaigns.
Chicago since 1955 (when mayor Richard J. Daley became mayor) to the last few days of this year spanning 60 years….there have been over 37,000 homicides from all causes…..an average of more than 500 per year…I suppose that’s just the way it is…..some things will never change.
The silver lining? There are immediately 500 fewer Democrap voters. Add to that the thousands of future Democrap voters that they likely would have spawned. It’s no wonder they have to keep bringing in more illegals. They have to replace their shrinking base.
Sorry but I don’t agree with you on this one. For 65 years my uncle Virgil lived in Chicago and voted Republican until the day he died and since then has voted democrat, sometimes twice.

Chicago isn’t a nice place outside of a few “safer”, high-profile locations. Even there, the feral ones appear from time to time to prey on the sheep.
At least now, some of the sheepdogs have something more than a sternly worded letter from Barack Obama to stop thugs cold.
