Police in Dayton, Ohio are facing tough questions after not responding to an attempted burglary call for over an hour – at a house that was burglarized only a week before.  Inquiring minds are curious to know if it was the same burglar coming back for seconds.

If it was the same burglar, his career was abruptly and profoundly truncated, as the homeowner called back to say that she’d taken care of the problem by shooting the burglar after he forced entry after climbing onto the roof and breaking through a second story window.

He stumbled out of the house and died face-down on the sidewalk just down the street.  Seems he ran out of red go-juice.

Thank goodness for Americans’ right to keep and bear arms.

The only thing that stops evil is a good guy with a gun, as this homeowner knows all too well.

She’s been victimized five times in 11 years, and shot another intruder a couple of years ago after he kicked in the rear door.

Crime-plagued property owner kills intruder

Officers say case appears to be self defense.

(Daily News) – A Dayton woman targeted by criminals at least five times in 11 years fatally shot a man she said broke into her home Wednesday morning, the second intruder she has hit with gunfire in about two years.

The 46-year-old woman, who lives in the 200 block of Richmond Avenue, told officers the man smashed a window and entered the second floor of her Five Oaks neighborhood home. The woman’s brother said the intruder initially broke a first-floor window but could not get inside because of metal security bars installed after a burglary last month.
