Last Night, a young man who like ALL of us has a sorted past was murdered at 79th Laflin. He was trying to turn his life around. We had many talks over the last few months, and has been attending Church. Sadly he will not be able to complete that turnaround……On tomorrow Jan 15th, Birthdate of Dr. King,The Prophet of Non-Violence, we will be gathering at St. Sabina at 7pm to have a Walk for Peace in the Community. We will remember him and the 23 Killed and 123 Wounded since Jan 1 We will Condemn this plague of Violence and Demand Resources to transform our Neighborhoods….join us….
So, Father Pfleger has a “sorted” (do you mean sordid, Father?) past? Pfleger – the Chicago priest who threatened to “snuff out” the lives of gun store owners and pro-gun politicians a few years ago – is lamenting the death of a violent thug “trying” to turn his life around.
Pfleger’s favorite thug won’t be able to complete his turnaround.
“Plague of Violence”? Black on black violence isn’t a communicable disease. It’s a direct result of Democrat-controlled big cities not prosecuting and imprisoning violent criminal predators to long sentences, taking them out of circulation for a generation or two for using firearms or other weapons to victimize innocents. Instead, those same big-city, far-left Democrat politicians blame law-abiding gun owners for their own failings.
We’re tired of it and we’re pushing back.
And we’re shooting back as well.

The Blaze has the story of a foul-mouthed associate professor of English at the University of Nebraska that also serves as the director of Nebraskans Against Gun Violence.
In late December, a gun-control activist posted an F-word-laden rant directed at the NRA, lawmakers and police — and about a week later was invited by the White House to meet President Barack Obama.
A Facebook page belonging to Amanda Gailey lists her as director of Nebraskans Against Gun Violence and associate professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. On Dec. 28, the following was posted on the Facebook page (profanities redacted):
A university professor that resorts to crude and vulgar writing to articulate her beliefs? She’s a gifted educator, isn’t she?
She writes an f-bomb laced post on Facebook and Barack Obama invites her to meet with him days later. Leave it to Mr. Smart Diplomacy himself to invite Amanda Gailey to talk with him as a public relations stunt to pimp gun control. How’s it feel to be pimped, Amanda? Did you at least get a kiss afterwards?
This wasn’t a one-time instance. She’s full of literary talent!

That was a cop murder.
There is NO RULE OF ENGAGEMENT anywhere that allows for a cruiser to come within six feet of a potential threat.
Think on this:
They stayed back 100 yds. They hailed the boy through their loudspeaker. THey yelled “PUT THE GUN DOWN.” The boy puts the gun down, and everyone goes home healthy and happy.
This was COP MURDER.
I CONDEMN all cop agencies and humans who defend this. YOu are DESPICABLE.
To MOCK those who point it out as murder BELITTLES your intellect. Yes, you’re like the lil guy above, whose girlfriend is wondering what she’s doing with him.
That cop killed that boy, black,brown,white or purple. And this should be ROUNDLY condemned.
The boy was the size of an adult, looked like an adult, broke the orange tip off a realistic lookng toy gun, and pointed at a police officer. Oh, but I forgot- liberals hold no one accountable except police and gun owners.
You’re (we’re) losing the debate because of things like this. For instance, I’m a proud Reagan Conservative, and revile the O’Blowme’s and Clintons of the nation. But… there is no reason under the sun for any cops to drive that close to someone they perceive as a threat. They’d be sitting ducks in their cruiser, driving up within ten feet of an armed gunman. That’s just STUPID. I wanna see the instructors of “Being a cop 101” who’ll defend that as a tactic. I’m no liberal, but yes, I’m holding THESE and other cop/killers responsible for murder. That was MURDER.
I am going to venture out on a limb here and say Patti Brockington only wishes she could peer down the pants of a good lookin’ guy. I would be chaste as could be if I were shipwrecked on an island with her. She would be useful if there were any dangerous animals! I wouldn’t have ro outrun the critters, just Patti.
