Maintain your situation awareness at all times.

There are a host of pre-violence behavioral indicators, and pro-incident indicators.  Come out to the Critical Threat Management Force-on-Force class to learn the subtle nuances in body language that often precede an attack.

Sometimes you don’t need training or education outside of everyday life skills to figure out when it’s a good time to make yourself scarce instead of pulling out your smart phone, grabbing a bag of popcorn and watching a show.

Not everyone is smarter than your average bear, so we have this video from Salt Lake City, Utah as a car-load of rocket surgeons get into a phallic measuring contest with a guy working the drive-through window of Burger King.

It starts with profanity, continues with idiots begging one another to come fight and ends up with a special snowflake pulling out a pistol and very nearly pulling the trigger.  In Florida, he would be gone for ten years, but that doesn’t help you if you or one of your family were killed by an errant shot.

The ensuing video is worthy of World Star Hip Hop, and provides lots of pre-violence and pre-incident indicators.

Oh yeah, the sound-track is most certainly not safe for work, but it’s certainly rich in the comedy value.

  1. Aside from assorted monkey politics and threat displays from the anti-social violence on display here, and the potential for it turning on a dime into asocial violence and lethal force … As noted in one of Marc MacYoung’s books: violence often comes with instructions.

“Get back in the f***ing car”.

Well then, get back in the f***ing car!

    1. Ain’t no Whopper and fries worth risking the health and safety of your family if you see this.

You see mopes like these, showing their asses, drive your merry self far, far away and call 911 when you’re out of the range of stupid.

      Most PDQ!

  2. I hope the police followed up and arrested Mr. Knucklehead #1.

It’s not like their license plate is a state secret.

  3. OKay, let us have a rational discussion of whether, if and when.

He was clearly, at the furthest point, going for the guy in the drivethrough window, with his gun presented.

You’re in the car at or to the right of the drivethrough window. You’re carrying.

In ILLINOIS, is it acceptable to shoot him at any point in that confrontation? The way that gun hit the ground, it didn’t sound like a toy.

    John? Any other trainers?

Defense of yourself and of others, right?

I mean, I don’t want to be the guy who has to do it, but that’s why I am a gun owner, isn’t it? NUTNFANCY’s video, “Obligations of Carry.”

As a man, I’m ashamed of their testosterone. But would it be a righteous shoot?

    1. I wouldn’t want to drag my life thru the sewer for a kid whose vocabulary consists of nigg…, fu….., and bitch in every other sentence.

I think you would be legal to smoke his dumb ass. But was the idiot in the drive thru window worth the headache? I mean, just cause you can doesn’t mean ya should, right?

    2. Yes, deadly force would be justified against the a-hole threatening whoever with the pistol.

Yes, using deadly force to shoot that man would be quite foolish as it would change your life forever for what? At best to save someone from an errant round. Most likely to save some piece of white trash Neanderthal.

No, I wouldn’t intervene. I’d be gone at best or at worst behind cover if I couldn’t leave without endangering myself or my loved ones to gunfire.

    3. Just like the guy in the diesel pickup does. Exit lot asap and go down the street to Wendys. Let these punks handle themselves.

    1. My uncle is a cop. I’ve heard some of the incidents they’ve gone through in the city he works. His secondary job is security at the hospital there. I agree, I would never be able to do a job like that, I’m not able to put up with the sheer stupidity of the people that are the criminals around here. Between drugs and petty crimes to be able to purchase said drugs, there’s no way i could handle that much stupid.

On the other hand, he’s on the swat sniper team, and it is fun to go shoot with them.
