Food is back!
Yes, food is back. Bring your appetite. We’re encouraging attendees to eat. The food is outstanding per Alfreda Keller, our GSL Chicagoland Coordinator. Options range from sandwiches to dinner to a buffet. The facility has a private room for us that will accommodate up to 150 people.
What’s on the agenda?
Well, besides the chance to win a brand new gun, we’ve got a full plate of info and topics to go with your full plate of food.
Wait! Win a new gun?
Yup. Win a Bersa Thunder .380 pistol.
GSL’s President Eric “Bear” St. Pierre will be present, as will Executive Director John Boch. We’ll give a first-person discussion of why GSL won’t be at IGOLD this year and answer questions. Boch will deliver is Executive Director’s notes.
We’ll bring you up to speed on what the gun grabbers have in store for us this spring and a peek at what we have in store for them.
Our main speaker Rocco Wlodarek of Black Flag Firearms Training, a highly respected firearms instructor for civilians and law enforcement will be on hand to discuss “Understanding Intruder Drills”. He whose last name can’t be pronounced is at the cutting edge of studying criminal trends and the upswing of violence and home invasions (and violent home invasions) is something he’s working hard to educate good guys on how to keep their families safe. He’s passionate, well-informed and a terrific speaker.
George Fryk, our prolific collector and walking library of firearms knowledge may well be present and if not, we’ll have some hardware somewhere, somehow to show off.
GSL meetings rock.
First hand experience here.
They are a good time. If you haven’t been to one, you owe it to yourself to go, especially if you want to be up to date! The people are great too!
My wife and I have enjoyed going to GSL meetings now and then for three plus years now. Good people, great meetings and a lot of fun.
