  1. What the heck is this crap?

What do you have against STONEWALL JACKSON???????????

    A REAL American HERO, indeed.

Pretty soon we white men will be just a vague memory, and this nation will be dead.

    1. Wrong Jackson. Thomas Jonathan “Stonewall” Jackson was the traitor who was accidentally killed by his own troops.

Andrew Jackson was the 7th president of the United States. He gained fame by defeating the British at New Orleans during the War of 1812. Well, technically it was after the War of 1812 ended as a treaty had been signed a couple weeks prior, but the attacking British and defending Americans had no way of knowing.

He then went on to do some pretty nasty things to the Native Americans. The Indian Removal Act that led to the Trail of Tears being one of the biggies.

He first appeared on the $20 bill in 1928. He’s had a long run and I don’t see a problem with this change.

    2. Traitor? How was he a traitor? Those he fought for he served well, and was basically a hero of the South.
He was no more a traitor than was George Washington for being opposed to the British.

I predict a lot of the new bills will have hand-scrawled messages on them.

    3. Stonewall Jackson, an citizen of the United States, took up arms against the United States of America. So yeah, he was a traitor. As for the South still venerating him, it just shows that one person’s traitor is another person’s freedom fighter.

The Founding Fathers were traitors to the British Empire too. Absolutely George Washington was viewed as a traitor to the British. Benjamin Franklin acknowledged this when he said “We must, indeed, all hang together, or most assuredly we shall all hang separately.”

The difference between the Revolutionaries and the Confederacy is that, well, the Revolutionaries won. History is written by the winners, to the victor go the spoils, etc and so forth.

    4. Thank you for politely pointing that out. I stand humbly corrected. I’m embarrassed to have not known that or, as Hitlary would say, “misremembering it.”

*Other, lesser men would have called me a “special snowflake” or some other silly puerile nickname.

  2. It’s nothing the next SecTreas can’t undo. In the meantime, I tgink it is great that they picked a gun-toting Republican woman who served as a hero to rescue slaves. We could have gotten someone as worthless as Michelle Obama or Margaret Sanger instead.

  3. Isn’t Jackson the father of the modern Democrat party?

You got to love it when stupid people don’t know their history.

    Sam
