Delvin Jamar Broner, old enough to know better, apparently didn’t know that in the sunny state of Florida, darn near one in five adults has a license to carry. In essence, preying on decent people in Florida is a lot like dangerous game hunting.
At just shy of 1am Monday, he found out that decent people can be dangerous game indeed. When he approaching a younger gentleman named Titus Bernard at a gas station (we’ve told folks over and over that gas stations are one of the three most likely places you will be accosted), he got himself some hot lead instead of cold cash.
Thank you, Mr. Bernard, for your situational awareness and potentially saving another innocent’s life by stopping a bad guy and not letting yourself become a dead victim. We’re glad you’re okay. We’re pleased your attacker is now permanently rehabilitated with zero chance of recidivism.
You might not be surprised that Delvin had been to jail before, as this booking photo shows.
Remember, the only thing that stops bad people with evil in their hearts (bad men like Delvin Jamar) is a good guy with a gun.
America is a better place without Delvin, and with people like Titus Bernard.
ORLANDO (News 13) — An armed, convicted felon was shot and killed by another convenience store customer during an argument, Orlando Police say.
- Convicted felon shot in convenience store altercation, police say
- Shooter called cops, stayed at scene, according to investigators
The shooting happened at about 12:48 a.m. Monday inside a Circle K at the corner of John Young Parkway and Old Winter Garden Road.
According to an initial investigation by police, Delvin Jamar Broner, 36, initiated an argument with Titus Bernard, 29. During the argument, Broner, a convicted felon, drew a firearm that was partially concealed in his clothing. When Bernard, who has a valid concealed weapons permit, saw Broner drawing his gun, he produced his own firearm and fired several shots at Broner, police said.
Bernard called police, waited for officers to arrive and has cooperated with the investigation, police said. Witnesses corroborated Bernard’s account, according to investigators. Bernard hasn’t been charged.
Looks like Broner pulled a boner.
He wasn’t very bright. Darwin winS
He wasn’t very bright. Darwin winS
Why is it that when the police shoot someone like this they always show a picture of the guy in a cap and gown? From like the third grade.
Ha ha. Stupid game, stupid prizes.
It’s why we should we aware when in public. Unfortunately in our great state, too many Democrats don’t want to put the wolves behind fences. Which means they prey on us good folks.
It cannot be overemphasized that gas stations, ATMs, and parking lots are three places where you must exercise maximum situational awareness. Watch your six!!
Delvon didn’t discern his darn victims too well, now did de?
Now he’s one dead dumbass.
The bright spot here is that Broner now has his carbon footprint down to zero. And we can feel better that his that his career as an oxygen thief has now ended.
