Katie Couric, the old woman who spoon-fed much of America her version of the news for a couple of decades has returned to lend her impressive intellect on Americans’ thoughts on gun control from her ivory tower in her new “documentary” called “Under the Gun”:

Ninety percent of the public really favors universal background checks. And after Sandy Hook, everyone thought this was a watershed moment, something would be done. And then when Manchin/Toomey died in the Senate, I couldn’t understand the disconnect between public opinion and our elected officials.

Ninety percent of the American public don’t understand that the “universal background check” scam really means the end of private transfers of firearms without the government’s permission.

The NRA only represents five percent of gun owners, so there’s this huge silent majority, and they represent common ground.

Well, sweet-cheeks, applying your logic to your own profession:  Only 6% of Americans trust the mainstream media, so there’s this huge silent majority, and they represent common ground (and common sense).

And the mainstream media types wonder why nobody trusts them.

  1. That women is as sharp as a marble. She was most certainly guided to the top for her lack of depth, not because of it.
