BUTLER: Time for a change

It is imperative that all of us who value our Second Amendment constitutional right, vote in the November 2016 Presidential Election.  We must help ensure the defeat of any candidate (like Hillary Rodham Clinton) who would destroy that right and others by packing the U.S. Supreme Court with leftist judges.

Crooked Hillary has already told us how she admires the Australian model of firearms confiscation.  She would replicate that here in the U.S.A., thanks to her new Supreme Court appointments.   Hard-left Hillary will first disarm licensed owners of every registered handgun, and every semi-automatic rifle and every pump-action and self-loading shotgun – without compensation.  Then she’ll destroy our self-defense tools, just like our rights, in a big public spectacle.

Passage of National Gun Registration and “Universal” background checks which are nothing more than banning the private sales of guns would give Crooked Hillary the tools for success to disarm Americans.   Yes, “Universal Background Checks” is nothing more than requiring every innocent, now-legal sale of guns between law abiding individuals to obtain a government permission slip under threat of felony prosecution. Remember this when you vote in the 2016 November election.

Shortly after Obama’s 2009 inauguration, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Attorney General Eric Holder began claiming that 90 percent of the guns used in crimes committed by Mexican drug cartels were sold by American gun stores. They were trying to drum up support for another scary gun ban akin to the 1994 ban.

Then we found out Hillary Clinton, Eric Holder and Barack Obama were literally delivering guns to those same Mexican drug cartels.  This ill-conceived secret program called Fast and Furious put guns in the hands of cartel thugs so they could be traced to crimes.

The program proved highly successful at creating violence and death.  It climaxed in the murder of U.S. Border Agent Brian Terry; when the murder weapon found at the crime scene had been knowingly walked across the border under the Fast and Furious scheme.

Yes, Democrats gave Ronald Reagan the third degree for arming freedom fighters in Nicaragua to fight against communists during his administration thirty years ago.  Today that same Democrat party works to cover up arming Mexican drug cartels.  Many of the Fast and Furious guns still haven’t turned up, but at least one has turned up in Paris at the Muslim terror attack at the Bataclan last year.

Democrats dream for a continuation of Obama’s Presidency and his objectives.  Hillary will be his proxy for a third term to accomplish those goals Barack Hussein has started but couldn’t complete.

Barack Obama makes Jimmy Carter look saint-like.  Never before Obama have we had a president who has performed so poorly on the economy, foreign policy and skyrocketing national debt.  Never before has a president showed such open contempt for the Constitution and the rule of law, especially the First- and Second Amendments.   Then there’s other issues like our wide-open southern border, the burgeoning welfare class, our unfair tax system and an increasing federal bureaucracy.

Hillary Clinton has proven herself a failure time and time again.  As Secretary of State, she bore responsibility for the safety and security of U.S. diplomatic personnel.  When that 3a.m. call came from Benghazi on September 11, 2012, she not only did nothing, but she ordered American forces to stand down as she watched our ambassador and three brave Americans perish in that attack.  Why?  To protect her covert arms smuggling to radical Islamists in Syria.

For her entire life, Hillary Clinton has attempted to dodge responsibility for her actions and inaction by lying.  The Benghazi massacre is only one of the latest, and most costly scandals in terms of lives lost.  Public records prove she knew of the well-planned terrorist attack but she did nothing to protect or save those men.  In the aftermath, for the last three years, she’s stood by her lie that the Benghazi attack was inspired by a cheap, anti-Muslim YouTube video.

Enough is enough. We don’t need another third term of another leftist radical trying to turn our great nation into a third-rate, third-world country

I don’t know how anyone can trust someone like Hillary who has been involved in a list of scandals a mile long.

It’s time for a change.
