From The Truth About Guns:
by Dan Zimmerman
“Missouri lawmakers have overridden a veto of a wide-ranging guns bill that will let more people carry concealed weapons and give them greater legal rights to defend themselves. The Republican-led Legislature enacted the law Wednesday by a 24-6 Senate vote and a 112-41 vote in the House. Both exceeded the two-thirds majority needed to override the veto of Democratic Gov. Jay Nixon.”
And with that, Missouri becomes the eleventh (some say the 12th) constitutional carry state, allowing law-abiding citizens to avoid unconstitutional training and permitting requirement for concealed carry. What state will be next to jump aboard the freedom train? We’re betting on Texas, but we may be a little biased. Any other bets?
Here’s the list, courtesy of GunLaws.com
Vermont has had Constitutional Carry since the nation’s founding in 1791 —
they never enacted any law banning the right to discreetly bear arms.
Montana enacted Constitutional Carry in 1991, for all areas
outside city limits (99.4% of the state), and is working on the rest.
Alaska enacted Constitutional Carry in 2003.
Texas enacted Constitutional Carry “light” in 2007.
as the “Motorist Protection Act,” freeing people to carry in their vehicles,
and to and from their vehicles and their homes, land or business.
Arizona got full Constitutional Carry in 2010,
and the sky has not fallen, despite desperate fears to the contrary.
Wyoming enacted Constitutional Carry for residents in 2011.
Arkansas passed HB1700 (Act 746) on August 16, 2013 to get Constitutional Carry.
Kansas pushed Constitutional Carry through with widespread support in 2015.
West Virginia had to override the Governor’s veto to pass the law in early March 2016.
Idaho pushed it through and got it signed later in March 2016.
Mississippi succeeded in enacting Consitutional Carry in April 2016.
And now Missouri!
Of course, Everytown for Gun Control spent a LOT of money and credibility in an effort to sustain the Governor’s vetos, but their work and spending didn’t flip votes as they had hoped. They were left with a press release whining that Missouri is the first state to enact Stand Your Ground since the death of Trayvon Martin. As though Trayvon Martin was an innocent little snowflake destined to cure cancer struck down in his prime by an evil white gun owner. Pulease. Is Trayvon Martin the best reason they have to oppose Constitutional Carry?
This guy?
My question is: Does the prohibition on mass transit still stand?
What about Maine? Appears to be good-to-go as well.

Freedom Wins!
Something to fix Ferguson murder rates.
How does a state like MO, with a supermajority of Republicans in the legislature, manage to elect a Democrat Turd like this guy?
Good old Trayvon. An AP story in the paper today had a short mention of him. It said that Zimmerman killed him after he had been to the store for ice tea and Skittles, with no mention of anything else regarding the incident. Do these people still wonder why hardly anyone wants to buy newspapers anymore?
Hard left Dems LOVE the media. I wouldn’t piss on them if their guts were on fire.
Thank God for dead Tray Trays. Relying on him as your poster boy is a recipe for failure unless you are selling the thug life.
Freedom & Liberty – build it and they will come.
