Jorge Amselle, the gun writer who writes for a bundle of gun magazines has come out with full-throated support of Hillary Clinton.  He was a contributor to the National Rifle Association's American Rifleman, but they've cut ties with him.  News came out today that GunsAmerica, a large internet firearms website, has proudly proclaimed that Mr. Hillary Supporter now writes for them.   None other than GunsAmerica's jefe Paul Helinski (pictured above) boasted it.  More on Helinski and GunsAmerica in a minute.

Amselle's support for Hillary Clinton for president

Anyone can vote for whomever they want.  That's part of America.  However, when you're a big dog in the firearms community and you trade on that reputation and use it to encourage others to support or at least moderate their opposition to a rabidly anti-gun presidential candidate, I think that's fair game for publication.  Especially when the next occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue will probably get to appoint a majority of the US Supreme Court in the next four years!

David Fortier, a writer at Shotgun News and other publications, wrote about Mr. Amselle using his gavitas at a confab about a week ago to convince his fellow scribes to see that electing Hillary wouldn't be so bad on our gun rights.  Yes, Amselle explained, we need to support anmesty for illegals and Hillary, he claims, would be nothing more than a third Obama term.  

Jorge effectively campaigned for one of the most rabidly anti-gun presidential candidates in our nation's history.  Amselle has since last week gone so far as to pick up the tempo of his campaign for Hillary. 

Even Barack Obama said he didn't want to take your guns.  Hillary doesn't care and doesn't pretend.  She supports Austrailian-style confiscation.  Period.

The story of Amselle's campaigning for Hill-dog never really reached critical mass until I wrote about it over at the Truth About Guns.  It's now got a life of its own.

The NRA Cut Ties

When I contacted the NRA and asked if they were going to continue to retain Mr. A's services, I got a message back PDQ:  "He was a contributor to American Rifleman. He is not a current contributor."  I guess it's time for old Jorge to update his Facebook bio.

Dying Website Attacks Gunwriter Jorge Amselle & Lies About NRA

In a last ditch attempt to gain some free national exposure, the dying website “The Truth About Guns” has gone way over the edge and attacked longtime gunwriter Jorge Amselle over his political beliefs. Jorge has been writing the now defunct Harris Publications, and has been writing for GunsAmerica since we hired Mike Humphries, the Editor at Large over at Harris.

…Now TTAG is claiming that NRA cut ties with Jorge, but all they said was that he was not a current contributor. Hello he is writing for us, and before that he was writing for Harris. NRA took almost two weeks to issue a statement on Sandy Hook. Do you think they would have a board meeting to discuss a response to a gun writer who used to write for them who happens to support Hillary probably because he is afraid Trump will cut his grandmother’s Medicare?

Dying website The Truth About Guns?  The big cheese at GA put up a graph from Alexa showing a decline in traffic at TTAG.  I see the numbers.  Traffic ebbs and flows for a host of reasons.  I do know I about over-heated the hamster wheel shortly after starting with my UnderArmour dumps hunters story.  That was the biggest day ever for TTAG with nearly 650,000 visitors, half-again more than read Guns & Ammo on any given month.  Roughly 2 million people saw that story on Facebook.  Typically, TTAG runs about half of G&A's circulation every day.  It's a long, long way from dying.

I didn't attack Mr. Amselle over his political beliefs.  I attacked him for using his influence as a well-known gun writer (kind of like Dick Metcalf and Jim Zumbo used to be) to effectively campaign for Hillary "Surrender Your Guns" Clinton.  Big difference there, Paul.

As for Mr. Helinski's proud proclamation that this guy Jorge Amselle works for him now?  We'll let America's gun owners decide what to do about that.

Yes, TTAG (read: me, John Boch) wrote that the NRA has severed ties with Amsella.  My wife works human resources and in my previous job of twenty-plus years, I was responsible for them as well.  The NRA's statement was professionally written from an HR professional's standpoint.  Did I lie about the NRA?  That's laughable.  I saw the CC: fields in that email as it rolled through the upper echelons at NRA HQ.  I know and trust a number of those people like family.

This election is completely irrelevant, because Trump is most likely a shill for the same Oligarchs who have been running Obama, and the Rothchilds run fundraisers for Hillary, so you know she’s in the can. If Trump actually isn’t, and they can’t rig the election against him because the tide is too high, the shakeup will probably involve the real details of 911 making it to the mainstream, as well as what is really going on with Geoengineering, Vaccines, the financial system, and everything else. There will be blood in the streets. I think that Trump stumbled in the debate when he could have slayed her and been done with it suggests he’s in the can.

Jade Helm Update: It’s About Mass Extinction Event Coming 2015

My dear friends, we have been played, and we are actually being set up. Never in a million years would I have guessed that I would be writing you about this topic, but I have discovered something that I feel like must share with the many thousands of you who are longtime readers. I finally figured it out, after years of digging. It all connects, all of the craziness that is our current world, and you aren’t going to believe how. It isn’t little green men from Mars, or Illuminati, or devil worshipers, or reptilian time travelers. One thing and one thing only brings together the nonsensical gun confiscation nuts, the police state, reckless money printing, unpayable debt, spying, and even all the fake government stories. The one thing is not what I ever thought it could be. I won’t keep it a secret. Most likely we are for real talking about is the end of all life on this planet. The efforts to stop the process, which could very well be an inevitability, aren’t working. The methods they are using are right in the skies above your head, and they are still top secret. Most likely they are making the end come sooner, and there doesn’t seem to be anything we can do except wake up to what is going on, and wake our friends and family up, at the risk of looking like a fool. One thing I think I can assure you though, is that the end is coming, and I don’t think it is that far away.

This is why the military is deploying Jade Helm this summer, because it may no longer be possible to cover it all up. Jade Helm is an insurance policy. If we make it to fall, JH will just be a training exercise. If not, Jade Helm will have troops in place to put down what is going to be pandemonium and revolution. For us, even if we don’t live in the inner cities where the riots are bound to begin, the worst part is that we have been set up to be the opposition. The US Military will shoot at us, because we will be seen as fools refusing to accept the sacrifices required to save our planet. As the video to the right explains, we are all a part of a grand and lethal experiment, and if those of us with the guns don’t wake up to it now, we are setting ourselves up for imprisonment and slaughter.

If that analysis impresses you, then you'll also like his Facebook analysis, where a GunsAmerica writer (and later Helinski himself) laments they can't get a thousand Facebook "views" for their content without paying for them.  Remember that story I wrote for TTAG that's going on 2M views?  Did I mention the 13k+ shares?  I assure you, TTAG didn't pay Facebook to "Boost" that post.
