Three stooges in in Sunrise, Florida thought they would break into an unoccupied home.
What they didn't know was the homeowner was home and saw them hop the fence to his back yard after he ignored them ringing the doorbell. Seeing the suspicious-looking trio, the homeowner loaded his shotgun and prepared in case things went badly.
The bad guys "knocked" one last time with a brick through a sliding glass door before they came in to take things that didn't belong to them. The homeowner, on the phone to 9-1-1, offered up a hot lead donation to the goblins, killing one.
The other two got caught by five-oh and will probably be out of circulation for a while.
SUNRISE, Fla. – Two burglars face charges after their accomplice was killed Monday morning by a homeowner in Sunrise, authorities said.
Curtis Jeffries, 26, and Jose Coleman, 23, are being held at the main Broward County jail on charges of armed burglary and murder while engaged in the commission of a felony.

Police said Jeffries rang the victim's doorbell and knocked on the front door multiple times, but the victim didn't open the door.
According to an arrest report, the homeowner called 911 shortly before 11 a.m. after he saw two men get out of a blue Ford Taurus that was parked in his driveway and jump the gate leading into his backyard.
The victim told police that soon after, he heard his rear sliding glass door shattering.
"No comment at this time"….was the response of the homeowner when asked by media after a deadly encounter….the news media is NOT YOUR FRIEND and that is a very wise decision on Joe Homeowners part not to discuss his involvement especially when there is an investigation underway…..maybe the 2 surviving "dindonuffins" will serve a very long prison sentence since they are being charged with the murder of their accomplice …..probably hit 'em with double ott buckshot.
