Pulse

The parents of a 31-year-old victim of the Muslim terrorist attack at the Pulse Nightclub in Florida are in Tallahassee, outraged that Florida's legislature might end "gun free zone" foolishness.  They're speaking to the press about it.

“Our son was 31 years old. What happened to him was terrible, but we’re having too much gun violence and more guns in more hands in more places is not the way to solve this issue,” Maria Wright added.

The Wrights are concerned about bills proposed in Tallahassee that would allow concealed weapons permit holders to carry guns at sporting events, airports, polling places – even public schools and college campuses.

The couple fears that allowing more people to be armed will lead to more confrontations and more shootings.

“We’re just asking our legislators please we need common sense. We don’t need more gun violence victims,” Maria Wright said.

Indeed, Maria.  We need common sense.  Not people living in la la land.

Mr. Wright is Mr. Wrong when he says:  “If there had been more guns in Pulse, there would have been more dead."

Dear Fred and Maria:  When you ban good guys from carrying guns, that's dinner bell to terrorists like the one that killed your son.  It's also a dinner bell to social misfits seeking to make headlines and criminal predators.  Buy a clue Maria.  If a good guy with a gun had been in that club that night, your son might have had a fighting chance.  Instead, misguided thinking like yours and other gun grabbers got him killed

How sad is that?

If there had been two or three or a half-dozen good guys with guns, the Muslim terrorist sicko would have caught a round or three and been killed or incapacitated in all likelihood.  What's more, police wouldn't have waited two hours to storm the venue, allowing EMTs to render aid to the wounded to keep them from bleeding out.  Not many people can take a round from a rifle and not get treatment for two or more hours.

Yes, good guys with a gun would have saved your son.

No amount of pretending otherwise will make it true.

  1. Sorry your kid got killed, lady.  But that doesn't lend you credibility to sell B.S. as truth.

You can try though.  You'll only look really stupid though.
