MATTOON: Bauer Auction 1000-gun auction
On Friday, January 1st starting at 9am, Bauer Auction in Mattoon will host one of their quarterly auctions with over 1000 guns sold. This will be a (mostly) online event, with only 25 or so live bidders allowed in the building (thanks to COVID) restrictions.

Signing up for a bidder number online is pretty painless and quick, and they accept credit cards for purchases of over $500.

At 9am on Saturday, January 2nd, C.I. Shooting Sports at 700 Wylie Drive in Normal will host a sale of the Roy Albert Collection. This sale will include over 400 firearms and will have “buy it now” pricing on most of the guns and silent auction bidding on some of the rarest and most unique.
Albert’s collection includes scores upon scores of historic and rare military rifles and pistols, scores more Western guns and even a slew of precision target rifles.
