The police chief of Brackenridge, PA was shot and killed by a man wanted for a probation violation Monday afternoon. Authorities say Aaron Swan, 28, was considered armed and dangerous, despite his previous felony convictions. Sure enough, police caught sight of him around 4pm Monday and during a foot pursuit, he shot and killed Chief Justin McIntire.
A second officer was wounded by gunfire, according to FoxNews.

Other police officers continued the pursuit. Meanwhile, the “mostly peaceful” Swan allegedly carjacked a vehicle to escape, but with cops hot on his tail, he crashed the car. He then resisted arrest by gunfire and Pittsburgh police detectives returned the favor, killing him. Dead right there.
He’s no longer armed or dangerous.
Please hold Chief Justin McIntire’s family in your thoughts and prayers.
