The LeRoy Rifle and Pistol Club will hold an Open House of our new range location on Saturday, August 19th from 11am-3pm. We started in 1974 and moved to our new location at 3991 Gabby Road in Waynesville in 2018. Since then we’ve made improvements we would like to show off at our Open House along with plans for more.
Members (and guests) may shoot any firearm anytime from 7a.m. until dusk daily. We currently have shooting up to 25 yards and by next summer we anticipate completion of our 100 yard range. Plans include archery and firearm ranges out to 500 yards as interest and funding allows. Oh yes, there’s already a dedicated location for knife and ax throwing.
We have monthly black powder shoots during the summer months. The date of the shoots can be found on our AmericanHeritageRange.org website.
Our club takes great pride in our family-friendly space, so bring your kids and grandkids out – and bring their friends as well. We will have hot dogs and chips to eat and opportunities to shoot. Also, come see us at our booth at the Bloomington Gun Show on August 12th and 13th. We look forward to seeing you there!
