With a high likelihood of rain, the DeWitt County Sportsman’s Club leadership has elected to cancel the ZOMBIE SHOOT scheduled for Saturday. We crafted a whole new crowd of zombies and we don’t want them to become rain-damaged. Rain damaged zombies (we like to use them for more than a single year) and the precipitous decline in temperatures (pun intended) seems like a disaster in the making. So we’re pulling the plug. There’s a slim chance we might reschedule for later this year, but probably not.
Just a reminder the good folks at DCSC will have a great breakfast on Sunday, December 5th (8:30am) followed by a Turkey Shoot. Instead of a frozen bird, we’ll be giving away a $20 gift card to Sav-A-Lot in Clinton that you can use for a turkey or anything else.
What’s more, our monthly gun drawings feature 500 to 1000 rounds of popular centerfire ammunition. Winner’s choice!
It’s open to the public and everyone’s encouraged to not only attend but friend your friends and family.
