Migrant crime is turning cities into war zones
Criminals posing as asylum seekers are turning American cities into war zones.
The Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, feared for how it tortures its victims, is setting up shop in New York City, police sources revealed to The Post.
Gang members recruit migrants from shelters and as they come off buses from Texas, putting them to work in retail theft rings or on mopeds grabbing phones and handbags and roughing up pedestrians.
“This is organized crime. It’s just like the Mafia,” says Paul DiGiacomo, president of the city’s Detectives’ Endowment Association.
NYPD Commissioner Edward Caban warns of a “wave of migrant crime.”
Democratic pols deny it.
Gov. Kathy Hochul says migrants “are looking for a better life.”
True for many, not all.
City Comptroller Brad Lander accuses Caban of “fearmongering” and using a “Republican talking point.”
Believe the cops, not the pols.
Migrants in moped gangs and retail theft rings, some carrying guns, are terrorizing the Big Apple, Yonkers and New Jersey.
Two-man teams snatch pedestrians’ phones and deliver them to Tren de Aragua stash houses, where professional hackers drain their cash apps and make fraudulent banking transactions.

Migrants like Manaura who rack up clashes with police should be made ineligible for the city’s largesse.
Handing out hotel rooms and free meals to repeat thugs makes it easier for them to commit crimes and makes us patsies.
The Democratic Party is turning New York City into a Shangri-la for international theft rings and migrants here to rob and burglarize.
Taxpayers foot the bill for the thieves’ hotel accommodations plus three meals a day, a long list of other benefits, even free bus tickets if they have to skip town in a hurry.

Two Chilean, four Venezuelan migrants arrested in connection with retail thefts at Oak Brook Macy’s
Six migrants from Venezuela and Chile stole over $10,000 from a Macy’s in a suburb of Chicago in two separate retail theft incidents on Tuesday, authorities said.
The retail thefts occurred at the Macy’s department store located at 1 Oakbrook Center in Oak Brook, a store that has been plagued with a string of thefts and burglaries by migrants in recent months.
“I believe that six felony arrests in one day illustrates that migrant criminal activity is a real problem,” Oak Brook Chief of Police Brian Strockis said in a written statement on Wednesday.

4 migrants robbed and strangled a man on the Pink Line, Chicago police say
CHICAGO — Four men who live at a migrant shelter in downtown Chicago have been charged with robbing and strangling a passenger on the Pink Line, officials say.
The foursome attacked and robbed the 48-year-old man while riding a train near the Kostner station around 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, a CPD news release said. Chicago cops swooped in and arrested the suspects about 45 minutes later at the Pulaski station.
More information about the allegations will be revealed during their detention hearings at the Leighton Criminal Courthouse on Monday afternoon.
CPD identified the men as Fernando Loyo-Rodriguez, 22, Wilker Gutierrez Sierra, 21, Carlos Carreno-Carreno, 20, and 18-year-old Yonnier Guasamucare Garcia. They all list home addresses in the 300 block of South Plymouth, home to the Standard Club migrant shelter.
Prosecutors charged each man with robbery and aggravated battery by strangulation.
And if you want to hazard a guess who won’t be making their next court date… I’ll give you four guesses.
