For the record, I still haven’t gotten the most recent issue yet. We mailed it Wednesday, February 21st. Hopefully it won’t take 96 days to arrive like our December issue did.
Trust me, we’ll be rattling the USPS’s cage if they don’t start arriving very soon. And we’ll call in our Congressional contacts to intercede right away too.
Here it is for your enjoyment. By all means, download and share it with friends and family. Or send them the link.
Good luck dealing with the USPS. 25 yrs ago I did the initial paperwork for employment as a carrier & handed the docs to the Rochester postmaster. .. never heard back. .. gave ’em a call. The pm called back saying, “They’ve got your paperwork down there.” (Wherever “down there” was). .. problem was that due to their mishandling of my docs, I’d missed the deadline to take the postal exam.
I brought the issue up with a pm friend of mine asking why the postal service never looked into who had mishandled the docs. She told me the postal service, “Would never do that. They would never investigate how, why or by whom the docs were misplaced.”
So, there you have it: .. no accountability on some important issues with the USPS. .. amazing how those who “mismanage” some of these entities keep their job, but they do!
I would think that in the case of the delayed mailing of our newspaper, the USPS brass would want to know by whom, why & how this delay occurred. I must be wrong.
