First off, congratulations to the wonderful Miss Quincy Nicole Taylor who graced the cover of our July 2024 issue of GunNews. She represented her hometown at the Miss Illinois pageant. While she didn’t win, she did a great job competing with poise and pride, not compromising her beliefs to embrace causes she didn’t believe in.

We know from the New Mexico’s gun ban order last year that police did NOT want to enforce it because the state eliminated qualified immunity. The police weren’t respecting their oaths or giving sympathy to the citizens as so many gullible “Back the Blue” boot lickers in the 2A world think. They were worried about getting personally sued for violating people’s civil rights. You see this is simple for non-sheeple people to understand. If a police officer can cause harm on a person and get away with it personally thanks to qualified immunity, which essentially means passing the buck to the city and thus taxpayers when a lawsuit is filed, they have no incentive to control their behavior. Supposed 2A organizations can no longer be taken seriously until they get over this worry about being called anti-cop. If you’re worried about getting called anti-cop or one of the many cop lovers and thus gun control enforcers then this is what side you are on and will be called out for it.
Support for qualified immunity means you are OK with children getting shot by mistake and the cop getting away with it.

SO, what’s more important to you? Maintaining the “Back the Blue” religion you are told to practice by one side of the political spectrum OR instead maintaining that innocent children shouldn’t get shot and the perpetrator getting away with it.
The choice is yours. We The People are watching. AND……….I told you so!
