Am I astounded? Are you? Probably not.
I saw an announcement mid afternoon about a shooting outside the golf course between two people shooting at each other and the former President was not at risk. Sounded like just another day in Florida.
But it just hammers home the fact we are constantly being fed a bunch of B.S. by the media and you are left every day to sort out what you do or don’t believe is “real news” vs packaged B.S.
Two hours later the news now had it as a shooter but did not shoot at Trump. Then it was the Secret Service advance agent two holes ahead of Trump saw the rifle barrel sticking through the foliage and the agent shot at the bad guy and he fled.
A good guy witness not only saw the bad guy, but they took a picture of their license plate. He was pulled down on I-95 and hopefully will be talking to the police and even the FBI…Ryan Wesley Routh is his name being released late afternoon.
Quick Facebook check just now came back with “Ryan Routh is popular now” and he may be a pro Ukrainian Trump Hater. Picture looks like a wacky guy- of course.
All of this “news” will of course change by tomorrow. What we are hearing today confirms Trump Derangement Syndrome remains rampant and remains chronic among the far left as observed this week during the 3 on 1 Presidential Debates. The Dems and the media have pounded anti-Trump fear and hatred into our news for years now and make people believe Trump will bring down the country’s economy, immigration, oil development, abortion and international chaos–not to mention he will try to prosecute his political opponents. Yes, accused of everything the other side has already done. One Dem has already made a statement how this shooting attempt was somehow Trump’s fault. What a Maroon!
We are being told the shooter had an AK style rifle with a scope of some sort, two back packs hung on the fence and a Go Pro and was 300 to 500 yards from the Trump golfers. An AK is not a great choice for long distance shooting, but would do the deal in that 300 yard range. Shooter was probably waiting for his target to get closer for accuracy- and for his Go Pro to work better.
A picture of the “AK-47” is not an AK. Blurry news photo now showing a banana clip and a long barrel and gas tube- but no pistol grip. Looks like an SKS adapted to take a large capacity magazine in a polymer stock and a tactical style scope, not a red dot. Makes the SKS more lethal at longer range.
Most disturbing, were the two backpacks hanging on the fence. The news today is relating they contained ceramic tiles. He may have created his own bullet resistant mini bunker to hide behind as ceramic tiles are used in Level IV armor. Or he might have worn the backpacks on front and back. That is pretty savvy. Very heavy to carry, but might just work to stop incoming rounds. Any crazy shooter who anticipates counter sniper rounds isn’t all crazy, and it may be a sign he expected to survive this attack and not just martyr himself.
On the law enforcement side, that initial Secret Service Agent may bring some polish to their current tarnished image. Their protocol worked to prevent another shooting. Watching TV it looks like the Sheriff’s Office via Sheriff Ric Bradshaw (does he look like everyone’s Grampa?) and Highway Patrol worked great and Coms were working they way they should- especially after the multiple failures at the last attempt.
Watching talking heads on TV now is just noise. They are all full of themselves and can pontificate a length and no one holds them accountable for accuracy.
We all need to wait 24 hours for “real news.” Oh and with FBI taking over we are hoping to hear the straight story from them…again.
The “FBI” and the “director”, Wray, will not be forthcoming, Wray cannot answer a direct question to save his “reputation” any more than HSA director Mayorkas, neither cares about truth. justice, or the American way and only reveal limited information to preserve their own power. Most common lies they spew is “ongoing investigation” to gaslight the oversight committees of the house and senate. To watch the oversight committee’s hearings is an aggravation and exercise in futility.
Clearly they don’t fear any oversight. They are adrift.
The oligarchy will try to snuff Trump again, bet on it. Imagine what they must fear being discovered by Trump if he wins. The world is gonna be nonstop insane for the next year, if you have the ability to carry your self defense, please do so.
2019: See something – say something. That worked well – 5 year “heads-up” and the feds still dribbled the ball off the top of their foot. Because they make it bitter, that’s why we cling. Shout-out to the agent taking initiative and the citizen that captured the license plate image.
