Do you remember this jackass mayor?

From the NY Post:

After “dying to go” to the Met Gala “for years,” New York City Mayor Eric Adams finally got his wish.

Adams, 61, arrived wearing a statement suit, making a political splash on the red carpet alongside girlfriend Tracey Collins, who wore a white Oscar de la Renta gown with iridescent flourishes.

Well, Mr. “No Guns for the Little People” found himself indicted by the feds today.

From ABC News:

New York City Mayor Eric Adams has been indicted by a federal grand jury, sources familiar with the matter told ABC News.

In a speech addressed to New Yorkers on Wednesday, Adams vowed to fight what he called the “entirely false” indictment with “every ounce of my strength and my spirit.”

“I always knew that If I stood my ground for all of you that I would be a target — and a target I became,” Adams said.

Adams is the city’s first sitting mayor to be indicted.

The exact charges remain sealed as of Wednesday night, but the initial investigation expanded from campaign finance to bid-rigging and more, sources said.

Of course, he denies it.

What most people don’t realize is that when the feds indict you, you’re looking at close to a 97% conviction rate.  They don’t charge people if they don’t have them dead to rights.

I can’t wait to send ol’ Eric a Christmas card to his prison address in a year or three.

Maybe JB Pritzker will be his cell-mate.

  1. You knew he was crooked as the day was long. He just virtue signaled to make it look like he wasn’t a criminal.
