Apologies folks.  I set out to write this before leaving for Peoria’s GSL meeting tonight by the server’s switches were misbehaving.  Following some beatings until the morale improved, we’re back up and running.  Anyway, Team Kwame’s radically anti-gun attorneys had a no good, really bad day today in front of Judge Iain Johnston.

Basically the judge was royally pissed that Team Kwame suggested that his earlier decision allowing four CCW holders to carry on public transit somehow was responsible for the quadruple homicide that occurred three days later.

Greg Bishop covered it, thanks in part to transcripts.   It certainly sounds as though it was epic.  The judge just gutted their anti-gun talking points and “logic.”

Keep your eye on Todd Vandermyde’s Freedom’s Steel YouTube channel for a potential play-by-play video, as well as William Kirk and Four Boxes Diner.

The bottom line:  The judge said he wasn’t going to stay his decision to allow the men to carry.  Kwame will probably now go to the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

  1. That just breaks my heart to hear. I know some think blacks are at fault for the crime like the crass poster above) but that’s like lumping all gun owners in with criminals and their guns. In reality, if wehad gang control crime would drop precipitously. Like it did in El Salvador.

    1. Are you INCAPABLE of reading crime statistics, you drooler? You call me “crass” for recognizing them? YOU are part of the problem. Pretending it is NOT so only creates more of the same.

Chicago has A BLACK GANG PROBLEM. NOT a gun problem. PROVE me wrong. Don’t TALK me wrong.
