James Reynolds from Crystal Lake won the M1A Scout Squad at the drawing last Thursday evening at GSL’s LaSalle regional meeting at Jamie’s Outpost in Utica. A young man with his eyes shut drew the winning ticket.
Mr. Reynolds was one of the last-minute entries that came by mail. Talk about pure good fortune.
The only problem? Mr. Reynolds didn’t put his phone number on his entry, so we’re mailing him a letter. If you know him and want to call him, by all means, share the good news. All of the ticket sales proceeds will go to the attorneys fighting on behalf of Illinois gun owners to strike down the unconstitutional poorly-named “Protect Illinois Communities Act” gun and magazine ban.
As an aside, we have gotten away from publishing the full names of gun winners from our monthly meetings. But this is a rather exceptional firearm and in the interest of full transparency for those who bought tickets, (and the fact we don’t have a phone number to contact him), we’ve elected to give the winner’s full name.
