In what should have been a defensive gun use, a Chicago Police Officer was beaten senseless and bloody by multiple offenders. A witness captured the aftermath of the dazed and bloodied officer stumbling around. A 10-1 “officer needs help” was broadcast and within a couple of minutes the neighborhood was awash with police.
And while suspects were identified in the sense that they got into a car and drove away, nobody was arrested.
This brazen attack upon police isn’t exactly a ringing endorsement of the safety of the streets of Chicago. In fact, Chicago is a whole lot more violent than the streets anywhere in the so-called “Wild West.”
Hey, @ChicagosMayor: Your officers are being assaulted in broad daylight on the streets.
If this were violence interrupters, you’d be on scene and throwing a tantrum demanding residents obey “yellow vests.”

Of course, if this CPD officer had used his gun to smoke thwart his attackers, he would have effectively kissed his career goodbye and maybe even been prosecuted by the anti-police State’s Attorney Kim Foxx.
Moreover, you can bet those involved in this attack will feel emboldened to attack police in the future. AND if these feral animals will attack a police officer, what do you think that bodes for regular folks living and working in Chicago?
