Andrew Branca is a well-known self-defense attorney, author of books and pretty smart and savvy guy.  While I don’t agree with everything he says, there are some themes he shares for what to say in the aftermath of using force in self-defense.  Personally, I love his little mission statement of sorts.

You Carry A Gun So You’re Hard To Kill.
Know The LAW So You’re Hard To CONVICT!

I’ll start with this teaser:  What do you say to avoid arrest?

His answer:  I don’t care if you get arrested.

Listen as to why that’s actually a very good point.

SPOILER ALERT:  The goal isn’t to avoid arrest.  The goal is to avoid conviction!

  1. You mean to tell me that after all of these articles Jboch put out worshiping the cops and how the rank-and-file state police officers don’t like PICA that people who are first victimized by an attacker and have to defend themselves then have to worry yet AGAIN about being victimized by the POLICE if you say the wrong thing? WOW! So typical of fake 2A organizations. They claim to defend your right to defend yourselves from attackers, however if that attacker is the police then this Back the Blue bullshit kicks in and the cop gets priority over the citizen.

    Cows for Burger King
    Gays for Palestine
    Ships for icebergs
    Weeds for weed eaters
    Lobsters for Red Lobster

Or just save your time and say REPUBLICAN. Always pretending they are against gun control while supporting the enforcement agents of it. They are called sheep for a reason.

  2. St. Petersburg PD determined shooting was self defense – no arrests. (November 02, News Channel 8.)
