William Kirk, in his own way, describes some of the latest shenanigans in the Illinois General Assembly.
These include mandating that pediatricians ask about guns in the home (I can’t wait for that). And adding a whole host of categories of medical-related people (including the super-gun rights supporting category of social workers!) who can fill out Red Flag order of protection applications against gun owners.
A flippant remark may cost you many months of wrangling in the courts and thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars in attorney and court costs… if you’re lucky.
Remember folks, we don’t have the votes to stop anti-gun legislation like this. Heck, we can’t even keep the Republican caucus’ support of gun rights thanks to the feckless leadership of John Curran and Tony McCombie… even when she’s sober.
