France has a bit of a problem in its streets. After almost a week of rampaging groups of thugs rioting and pillaging, the two main police unions there have condemned the non-response of political leaders. Of course in France, few civilians have guns with which to defend their homes and businesses from the lawless mobs intent on destroying everything.

Amid violent riots in France, the two main police unions have declared in a written statement that France is in a civil war and warned the government that once the rule of law is restored, the police will be in the “resistance” against the government.
In a remarkable, strongly worded statement posted on social media on June 30, the Alliance Police Nationale and UNSA wrote: “Today the police are in combat because we are at war, tomorrow we will be in resistance and the government should realize that.”

This is an unreal communiqué by the main French police unions, essentially declaring France is in a civil war and that the police is in the “resistance” against the government.

Facing these savage hordes, asking for calm is no longer enough, it must be imposed!
Restoring the republican order and putting the apprehended beyond the capacity to harm should be the only political signals to give. In the face of such exactions, the police family must stand together. Our colleagues, like the majority of citizens, can no longer bear the tyranny of these violent minorities.
The time is not for union action, but for combat against these “pests”.
Surrendering, capitulating, and pleasing them by laying down arms are not the solutions in light of the gravity of the situation.
All means must be put in place to restore the rule of law as quickly as possible.
Once restored, we already know that we will relive this mess that we have been enduring for decades.
For these reasons, Alliance Police Nationale and UNSA Police will take their responsibilities and warn the government from now on that at the end, we will be in action and without concrete measures for the legal protection of the Police, an appropriate penal response, significant means provided, the police will judge the extent of the consideration given.
Today the police are in combat because we are at war.
Tomorrow we will be in resistance and the government will have to become aware of it.”
Meanwhile, while France burns, French President Emmanuel Lacron danced the night away at an Elton John concert.
And back on this side of the pond, Chicago continues to be a mess. With “flash mob” violence on a regular basis downtown in the tourist/business/commercial districts. Government and the media are doing their best to suppress reporting, but first responders see it first-hand.

So if some A$$hole comes for your converter, he stands a .002 percent chance of getting caught? Its more likely he gets caught when the car falls on him. He has a better chance with a lotto ticket than the courts. Mayor BJ is not gonna turn this around. When the cost of crime is low, you get more of it.
I don’t think they are jacking anything up to remove the converter. With the preponderance of SUV type vehicles, sitting a bit higher off the ground, they can get under easily enough without having to jack it up. It probably takes them only a couple minutes or so.
Why is it leftists wreck everything they touch? You couldn’t pay me to spend time and money vacationing in Chicago. Hell, I won’t go there for day trips.
Gentlemen. This article is not about the number of prosecutions, jacking up of cars vs proliferation of suv’s not requiring such jacking. Coming to our country sooner than you think. I pray our police unions will respond as in France. Time to clear out the rabble rousers, criminals, a-holes, communists, and illegal aliens.
